Alexander's POV:

"Holy shit."

The period had just ended, and John started to walk towards Alex. Of all days, why did it have to be today? And why did he have to be so darn cute?!

"Hey there, Tiny!" John puts a hand on Alex's shoulder, and he jumps at the sudden touch, and John smiles. "Fancy seeing you here."

"Uh-" Alexander was at a loss for words. He didn't know what to do. This feeling is new.

"You don't have to worry" John smiles wider, "I know what you're thinking, and honestly, I'm shocked to see you here too. I guess we were right about the same time zone, huh?"

Alexander quickly nods, and starts to gather his things as if he were ready to book it to his dorm.

"Hey, you okay there Alex?"

Alexander thought he was about to die of a cuteness overload. He was more than okay. He was beyond amazing. Even if he had just seen his dream boyfriend for the first time in real life, and knew only what he was told by this mysterious person online.

"Earth to Alex."

"Oh, uh...." He still couldn't speak.

"Hehe" John takes his hand off of Alexander's shoulder, and grabs his backpack and his sketchbook (which he couldn't resist bringing to class) and starts to head off with Lafayette and Hercules. "I'm going to look forward to the next time we meet, Ham." He points a finger gun at Alex, and then he's out the door with the other two snickering. Alex sighed contently. He barely knew this boy, and he was already falling hard.

Wait.

He forgot about the threat.

"Oh god."

Alexander didn't stop to think before he left. He grabbed his things and ran out the door with papers flying everywhere, receiving a "Hey! You get back here!" from Washington.

He ran as fast as he could to get to his dorm room, hoping he wouldn't break into tears on the way there. Whoever sent Alexander those threatening messages must be someone he knows in school, or other places rather than the internet. If word gets out to them that John and Alex have now spoken in person, the chances of the threat becoming reality are increasing.

He pulled out his phone, and scrolled through his home screen looking for his messages, and when he found it, he looked for John's contact and started typing at the speed of light, until he received a text.

"i wouldn't do that if i were you... you remember our deal."

Crap, he thought, I forgot they can view everything on my screen.

Alex quickly deleted everything he just typed, and received a "good job, wouldn't want to mess up your life now would you?" from the mysterious number. Alex groaned. He needed a new phone, and a new number.

Instead, he kept his phone out and proceeded to talk to John in the way he did all the time.

Alex still doesn't know this feeling inside of him, but whatever it is, he likes it already, and want to see where it leads. Yet sadly, it's always ruined by that one unknown number.

"going out for food, huh? that sounds nice, i'll be sure to tag along."
