Leo's Rebirth ~* COMPLETED*~

Chapter 6

     Leo stood as the two men looked at him confused at what he was doing since they were taking him to the hidden place they were all hiding. The dog stood there as it kept growling at Leo as it soon started to quickly run at him as Leo moved out in time before it jumped on his plastron as Leo got it with his katana sheath as it hit the ground harder then meant to as Leo got the tip of the sheath to the dogs back neck as it tried to get free but Leo would not let it.
      One of the two men came over and pointed its gun at the dogs head and shot it as the man looked at Leo mad. " Why didn't you kill it!"
    " I won't kill... I was not trained to kill but to protect others and myself. " Leo responded as Lee said to him. " Smooth Leo... Very smooth."
     They two looked at each other than to Leo as the man pointed to the way. " Let's go..."
     Leo just walked where they were going to take him as the two went behind him. Leo looked down looking at the ground as the dead leaves were moving and making noise but it made him feel uneasy since he did not like to be heard by anyone or anything.

     When they finally were there at the place Leo saw what looked like a few cars and very little people. Leo walked passed a few of them as they looked at him shocked.
    Till he soon stopped walking and stood there as he saw the girl he saved standing there not too thrilled at all. " it's rear you know. Seeing a mutant still alive. "
    Leo looked at her with slightly wide eyes from her worlds as he said to her talking one step. " There were more mutants?"
     She crossed her arms as a man came and placed his hand on Leo's plastron to keep him in place. " yeah... Since the dead came to life mutants started to rise from the sewers and other places trying to survive like us."
     Leo looked at her till she was done and looked down. " Have you seen any other mutants that look like me?"
    She looked at Leo at first confused as she loosened her arms and spoke calmly. " No... But I have heard other people saying that they saw mutant like turtles."
     Leo looked and was hoping that was his brothers while the girl then looked over to the people and spoke. " Treat his little wounds this mutant has."
    "What!" a man yelled as he asked her. " Why you treating this freak he was going to harm you!"
    She looked right at the man and said loudly so everyone could hear. " He saved me! Yes, I attacked him first to take his stuff but he did not harm me at all with his weapons or fists. He blocked my attack as he tried to warn me about the zombies around us! But I was to blind to see them focused on killing him! So he knocked me out and carried me to safety! "
     They all looked at Leo till the girl came to him getting her hand out. " Thank you and sorry for hitting you... I'm Shadow the group's leader. "
    She then smiled showing how grateful she was for him to save her life. Leo looked into her blue eyes and grabbed her hand shaking it. " Your welcome."
     " Leo you're too nice... This will get you and I killed..." Lee said while Leo just ignore him while they both let their hands go and a man came to take Leo to the spot where they treated wounds to cheek on him. Leo follows and went to sit as he took off his coat to let the man see that he was fine.
      But while he was getting checked shadow walked over and talked to the two men with him as they gave her the news about the zombie viruses getting to the animals know. Shadow was not too thrilled to hear that till she heard Leo also protected them too and the one that yelled at Leo told her what Leo said about not killing anyone or anything.
       Shadow looked at the area Leo was as she would just look wondering why he was out there alone and why he truly didn't kill her. Sure she believed him in not killing anyone but something or someone made him like that and she was going to find since she felt she could slightly trust Leo from him saving her like he did.
     Leo sat there not saying a thing while the person cleaned and patched Leo's wounds while the man would look at Leo starting on Leo's side next. " why you out there alone?"
     " Trying to find my three brothers... I will be leaving once you're done..." Leo said grunting a little from the pain to his side as he could hear Lee say to him as he sounded happy. " Thank you, Leo! For once your using your head!"
    Leo didn't respond while looking to the floor of the ground as he soon looked over to the exit seeing Shadow there as she said to the man. " How is he?"
    " Other then his side he will be okay. But he said he is going once I'm done, " he said as she looked right to Leo. " What? Why? I injured your side... You should stay and heal... As an apology from me..."
   " Leo don't do it! We need to stay away from groups remember! They will distract us!" Lee yelled as Leo could not help but grab his head as Lee yelling was giving him a headache. " I'm sorry... But I have to go... My brothers are my priority.."
     Shadow looked at Leo and signed as she turned. " Fine then go once done."
     But when she walked out and to her group, they all were chatting while she sat close to the fire they had going.
