what's the best compliment you've ever received?
is that your eyes remind them of an acoustic guitar?
or maybe that your laugh reminds their ears of a symphony?
that your face tells the stories your mouth could never?
that your soul is a song?
that the beat of your heart is their favorite tempo?
you're their favorite metronome?
or are you their ticking time bomb?is the best compliment you've ever received something that help you realize your beauty?
does it make you feel empowered?
inspired?
do their words make you feel like writing a poem?
are their words in your mind all day, even when they're not?is the best compliment you've ever received that your mind is just as strong as your arms?
that your words are a tsunami, tornado, a wind chill no weather man could predict?
they you're good for them, like a vitamin?
like a nutrient they never knew they needed?
that their smile could send you to heaven and back in seconds?is the best compliment you've ever received that you remind them of the ocean?
the way your skin feels sunburnt yet refreshed all at the same time?
or maybe you're as soft as the sand, as warm as the water?
or even that your curves are the Appalachian mountains their family took road trips on?is the best compliment you've ever heard that your mom raised you well?
that she taught you lessons you didn't know you needed?
maybe it's the way she talks to you, like an equal.
maybe it's the way you look at her like she's everything to you.is the best compliment you've ever received important to you?
does it help shape you into someone you'd rather be, someone you're more fit to be?
is it okay to compliment others on their character and not their face?
their actions rather than their words?
not only their promises they made, but the ones that they kept?
especially the ones they keptis it that they're loyal?
a charismatic character in their own story?
that their a play-write in their own acts?
is it that their arrangements make you weak?
or strong?
is it that your heart likes the way their dramas and tragedies fill the air like a fog?
or that you take them out of their own fog?is it that you made them feel something?
that you made them happy?
that you made them realize their worth?
that they've realized who they are because of you?
that they are who they are because of you?tell me, is the best compliment you've ever received from their mouth or from their soul?
do they mean it when they say i love you?
tell me, do you mean it when you say i love you?
do you mean it when you compliment them?
