"You like this one or this one?", Monique said holding up two outfits
We were shopping for my birthday outfit for tonight since today I'm officially 31 years old! After all the looking around I found two outfits I couldn't choose from.
"Ummmm.....Damn I don't know. I like both"
"One is a little more revealing then the other"
"I like the black one because it's a two piece and the other one is basic"
"So this one", she said holding up the outfit
"Yes ma'am"
"Alright, we have a winner"
I chuckled and grabbed the outfit from her. We walked to the checkout and paid for the outfit then left.
"Wait bitch. Let me get a photo of you right here"
"Why?", I asked chuckling
She pulled out of her bag a bottle. "Because, it's our pre turn up time, and we need to get lit. Plus your day time birthday outfit is cute"
"You not wrong", I said laughing.
She handed me the bottle while I handed her my phone. I held the bottle up and started posing with it.
"Yes bestfriend. You so cute"
I chuckled. "Thank youu. Let me see how they turned out"
She nodded and handed me back my phone. I started looking at the photos while walking to the car. I got in while Monique drove back home.
"I only like this one out of the total pictures. I look the best"
"Well post it girl. Let the world know it's your birthday"
I went to Instagram so I can post my photo.

She looked at me before looking back at the road. "Imma let you slide on that one since it's your birthday"
I smiled at her. Once she pulled into the driveway. I got out the car and grabbed my bags from the trunk. We walked in the house and heard music playing.
"Well...looks like Shaun is home"
I looked at the time on my phone and it showed 4:23. I walked upstairs to where the music was coming from and seen Shaun in the room packing his game bag.
