While Jaylen was out at practice, I decided to go grocery shopping. I grabbed my phone and keys and walked out the house. As I was locking the door I heard a familiar voice start talking.

"Nice place, I knew I find where you stay"

I turned around and seen Klay standing in front of me.

"Yo, you're a stalker dude"

"I haven't seen you in a while and I missed talking to you"

"Why couldn't you text me or something? You had to come all the way down from the Bay Area?"

"You blocked me because none of the messages to you would send and it's better seeing you in person"

"Klay why are you really here? You know I have a boyfriend, I'm not breaking up with Jaylen for you. I'm finally in a happy relationship and you're not ruining that"

"I'm not gonna do anything. I just miss talking and hanging with you. I'm pretty sure Jaylen won't mind us hanging. Where are you going?"

"He will mind. He'll be pissed if he found out we was hanging. He almost wanted to kill you the last time you guys came face to face"

"What he don't know, won't hurt him"

"I'm not doing anything to jeopardize Jaylen's and I relationship"

I started walking to my car, but Klay pulled my arm back.

"Okay okay wait wait. I promise you, I'm not gonna pull anything. Can we just hang out and catch up on old things. You can tell me about your guys relationship and how good it's going. I just wanna be able to have a conversation with you again. We've been to hell and back together and you're still the only girl I love. The only girl who ever did me right"

I looked away and sighed.

"I'm sorry Klay"

I looked back at him. "I'm always gonna have love for you, but I don't want Jaylen to have a reason to break up with me. We live together now and I have nobody in Arizona with me to go to if we break up"

"What if he messes up. Where you gonna go?"

"Back home, depending on how big he messed up"

"I love how loyal you are. It makes me mad I never returned the loyalty back. I'm so sorry for that. We might be over for good, but I just want to apologize for everything, the cheating, the lying, everything Tasha"

".....I know you are. I forgive you for that"

"You do?"

"I can forgive, just not forget", I said winking and chuckling

Klay chuckled and looked down. I looked down then looked back at him. He looked in my eyes then at my lips.

"If you...wanna JUST help me pick out groceries for the house...you can come along"

He nodded. "I promise, I'll only help for groceries"
