Roman ran up the stairs, bumping into Logan. "Why did I hear scre-". He was cut off by Roman pulling him down the stairs. "Something happened to Patton!", Roman yelled. "His eyes are gone!". "What? How is that possible?", Logan whispered.
Virgil was terrified. How could this happen? Why was he crying so much? Why? He slowly walked towards Patton, who heard him and inched back. "I...", Patton croaked out. "T-this happens when I cry... a lot... and I h-
hate it..." Patton began to cry harder.
"I'm sorry..." Virgil pulled him into a hug. "No, you don't need to be sorry, Pat. You don't need to apologize for being sad.". "No.. but you were all asleep and I woke you up.". Patton choked out. "You didn't need to help me, either, I'm just wasting your time..". Virgil was shocked that Patton felt that way, and concerned why he felt that way.
"Pat.. is it..", Virgil paused. "Is it because of us?". Patton tensed up. He stuttered, trying to string his words together. Patton was about to say something, until he heard footsteps coming down the stairs. "Patton, Logan is here to help!", Roman shouted.
