Kayla's P.O.V.

Back on earth a couple months later...

"YES! We won!"

"Three times in a row! Damn your good Kayla!"

"Well yeah, I mean I kinda play it everyday so I would be surprised if I wasn't!"

"Is that what you do instead of finishing your homework? Only three days this month you came to school with your homework completed!"

"Whoops."

"Wanna play another game?"

"Nah, I gotta get ready for the party. Are you sure you won't be coming?"

"Nah, I gotta babysit my bro. Have fun though! You bringing Crow?"

"Damn that's rough, babysitting on a Friday night. Yeah, I'm bringing Crow, I'm staying the night and he's too young to spend the night without me. And thank you, I'll try!"

"What do you mean 'you'll try'??? You're gonna be smushing faces with Lucas the whole time!"

"Avril! I though I could trust you!"

"Sorry, I couldn't pass up the opportunity!"

"I hate you so much. Anyway I gotta go."

"Okay, I'll see you later B-"

"Don't call me that."

"Sorry, it slipped."

"It's okay, it's just us. If we were in public..."

"I know, I know, and I'm terrified of what would happen to me after..."

"Shoot! I'm supposed to be leaving in five minutes! Welp I'll talk to you tomorrow Avril."

"Bye Kayla."

Kay61 has logged off

I sit back in my chair and sigh, my hands over my face. After a second I sit up, turn off my computer, and go to get ready. Since it's a casual party and I'm staying the night, I grab my regular outfit that I wear almost everyday except when my brother hogs the washer and I can't wash them to wear the next day. I know it sounds kinda bad but I don't really have any other clothes that I like to wear. I quickly change into some jeans, my Mountain Dew #dothedew shirt, my soccer champs sweatshirt, and some black and grey basketball socks.

My bag is mostly packed but I still needed to add a few things. Already in my bag were some basic comfortable clothes, my laptop, headphones, my drawing notebook, some pens and pencils, my vans, some other necessities (just in case cuz ya never know when hell will hit ya), and my skateboard. As I look around my messy hellhole of a room my dog, Crow, runs into the doorway, his tongue hanging out.

"Hi sweetie!" I say in a baby voice, "Are you ready to see Dad!" Ever since I started dating Lucas,  I've started to refer to him as 'Dad' to Crow since he LOVES it when we visit Lucas, or Lucas comes over to my house.

Crow barks in response, which I take as a yes. I run into the kitchen and scoop some dog food into a ziplock bag to feed Crow tomorrow for breakfast, and some treats incase he gets hungry overnight. I shove the food into my bag, grab my earbuds and phone, slip on my Tims, and start to leave, almost forgetting Crow and my keys. I pick up Crow, grab his leash and my keys, lock the door, get in my pickup, and drive off.
