Have you ever felt the cold seeping in through the skin of the person you love as you hold them close?
As it penetrates their body, easier than air ever could.
Have you ever felt the blood freeze in their veins quicker than time froze in a perfect moment?
Have you ever watched their heart stop beating and felt like the world had stopped turning?
Like nothing could ever be normal again no matter how hard you tried?
And have you ever realised that everything you ever stood for, everything you ever cared about.
Everything you ever loved.
Was gone.
Just like that.
I don't expect you to understand.
Because nobody will ever understand the pain I've been through.
All I ask is that you accept.
