Stay till the end for an important announcement.

Taehyung's eyes shot open. Suddenly he was laying down, in an ugly brown hoody, his arm around someone.

He layed still on the floor for a minute before he realized where he was and what was happenibg.

The simulation.

He was in the past.

This was before he had gotten his powers.

And he was holding his little sister. Without having to look back he knew his drunk father was sitting against the wall, drinking away.

He heard a snore some time later, signalling his father was asleep and that the coast was clear.

He slowly got up and nudged his sister to wake up, "Let's go back to our room... "
She nodded and they both sneaked back to their safe spot.

Tae locked the door behind them and sat against it.

He was left thinking.

This is just a simulation, nothing he does different will affect his actual past, right?
What if, this time he stays in the room with his sister instead of go out like he did years ago?

He wouldn't have his demonic powers, for one. And neither would he meet his master, J-Hope.

The point of this game was to make different choices, what good would it do to do the exact same thing?

But how long did it take for their dad to harm his sister when he left the house? For how long has he been harrassing her?

Taehyung could find out now.

But what was he supposed to do? He was weak...
Or was he?

Yes he was in his younger body, but he still had the mentallity of his adult self. He could still stand up against his father, fight him, instead of kill him.

Maybe he could change his mind.

Convince him to stop hurting him and his sister.

A noise could be heard downstairs, snapping Taehyung out of his daydreaming. He shot his head up to check on his sister, she was asleep.

He slowly got up and kept his back against the door.
He heard another aggressive groan from downstairs.

"Where are you two?!" The man slurred.

Taehyungs heart dropped to his stomach.

Is this what happened when he left his sister behind?

Guilt filled the boy as he was contemplating his next course of action.

Feeling guilty for leaving his sister behind with their abusive dad, Tae decided to make different choices this time.

He scanned around his room as he heard his dad come up the stairs.

He saw a broken pipe in the corner of his room. Their house was pretty broken down and old, wooden planks and pipes would just lay around as if it was nothing.

He picked up the item and went to shake his sister, telling her to quickly get up and hide in the wardrobe. She obeyed and stayed as quiet as possible while still fearing for her brother's safety.

"Oppa-"

"Stay quiet, he can't hear you!" Tae whisper yelled.

"Open the fucking door! Or I'll break it down! You piece of shit!" The older man yelled.

Tae frowned. He held up the pipe with his left hand while staying back and reaching for the door with his right. He unlocked it and jumped back as his dad kicked the door open. Taehyung still held up the pipe as a warning.
