I found no clue
Time had capsulated
I called the cops
Now they were into it!
They searched for them
Clues were handful
10 months down
And they were not successful!
Case was soon closed
Mystery was still to be solved
Now I took it upon myself
Recapitulated the turn of events on that day
Nothing was unusual
Everything was in place like a museum!
Three things now astonished me
First The milk was spilled on the floor
Probably it was the time when they were disappeared
Second, despite calling the local police
CID appeared!
And last, the wallet that was on the kitchen slab
Cops returned it after 7 months gap!
What took them hold it for too long?
Was it an administrative error or something else was going on!
I tried to find the reason
And soon heard about that cut hand that I saw at the water's edge
Same cop was studying that body case
There was a connection I could sense!
