A YEAR LATER

Elsa's POV
I was putting on my dark purple cape with the hood on and made sure I was wearing something so normal and regular that no one would recognize me or Hans as the King and Queen of Arendelle. "Hans, let me see what you are wearing." I told Hans, he came out of the bathroom wearing a suit. "Is this ok?" he asked, I shook my head in disagreement. "What? look at what your wearing! you are a wearing a dress and your tiara!" Hans saw that I was wearing my gown and also my tiara. "Yeah but I'm also wearing a cape so no one sees my tiara or dress. Your not wearing anything to cover your suit or crown." I said while giggling. "Fine, I'll not wear the crown but I am wearing my suit." he told me, I nodded in agreement. I pulled my hood from my cape over my head and then we walked out of the door and into the village close by.

Hans POV
"Elsa, are you sure you know where your going? and you forgot something.." I asked Elsa in a quiet tone. "Yes I know where I'm going, I've been to this village before. what did I forget?" She asked me, I smiled and looked at her hands. "My gloves? I can control them now, remember?" She asked, Maria started crying. "Shh, it's ok, Daddy's here.." I told Maria in a soft voice. "Aww, your going to become a perfect dad when I turn 24.." Elsa told me, I frowned. we arrived at the adoption center. "Mrs. Donaldson?" Elsa asked the lady at the front desk. "Yes? how may I help you?" Mrs. Donaldson asked Elsa, Elsa showed Mrs. Donaldson her tiara and then she lit up like a lightbulb. "You finally gave birth! I'm so happy for you, what do you need?" she asked Elsa, Elsa frowned at what she was about to say.

Elsa's POV
"We are putting Maria up for adoption.." I told Kelsy Donaldson. "Oh, I've never had a royal 1 year old be put up for adoption before.." Kelsy told me, I frowned again. "Don't tell anyone she's a princess.. When she gets adopted and we meet the parents I will tell the mother and father she's a royal." I told Kelsey, she nodded in agreement. "Im so sorry, Maria, I love you so much and I hope who ever adopts you will love you as much as I do. You probably won't remember me when your older but I want you to try your best to remember you have royalty in your heart. I love you sweetheart." Hans told Maria, he kissed her forehead then started to cry and then he ran out of the center. "Ok, com this way and you just need to fill out some papers about her." Kelsy told me, I nodded and followed her into a meeting room. She handed me the papers that I needed to fill out.

"There, it's all filled out." I said while handing her the paper. "Now I'll need her birth certificate.." she told me, I took it out of my little purse and handed it to her. "Ok, if someone adopts her i will send you a letter, I hope this is what you want." Kelsey told me, I frowned a little. "It's the rules, it's not what I want, it's what the council wants." I told her while kissing Maria on the forehead. "Do you want me to show you where she will be sleeping?" She asked, I nodded and then she walked out of the meeting room with me right behind her. she showed me a room as big as the one she had at home. "This will be her bedroom, of course we don't know how long she'll be living her until she gets adopted so we will upgrade her room as often as we can." Kelsey told me, I shook my head in disagreement. "you don't need to upgrade every chance you get, when she turn 14 if she's still here you can upgrade." I told Kelsey, she nodded in agreement. "ok, thank you, Queen Elsa." She thanked me, I frowned again while putting Maria in the crib that was in the room Kelsey showed me. I walked out of the Adoption Center and started to cry. I kneeled on the ground and started to cry even harder. "Hello, miss? are you alright?" A little girl came walking up to me, I cried even more because she looked like an older version of Maria. "Kasie!" A older man came running up to the little girl and picked her up and then noticed me. "Hello? are you alright?" he asked me,i looked up at him and frowned while shaking my head in disagreement. "No, I'm not ok." I said as I got up really quickly, my hood fell down. "Queen Elsa?" he asked, I was confused but then realized my hood fell down and then I put it over my head again before anyone else realized I was the Queen. "Queen Elsa!"

Hans POV
"Elsa's not back yet, where is she?" I asked Anna, she raised her shoulders and dropped them saying "I don't know". Then Elsa came running in."Found her!" Anna yelled while pointing at Elsa with excitement. Elsa was sobbing, Me and Anna ran up to her. "Elsa! are you ok?" Anna asked Elsa, I looked at Anna with shock. "She just dropped off her 1 year old daughter to a adoption center! what do you think?" I asked Anna, she then remembered. "Ohh, it's ok, Elsa, Maria is going to be fine." Anna asked, Elsa hugged Me and Anna together in a group hug. "I love you guys so much!" Elsa told us through the hug. "I love you too, Elsa." Anna told her. "I love you too, sweetheart." I told Elsa, she hugged us tighter. "Hey if it makes you feel any better I was crying very hard on the way home and a lot of people were judging me..." Hans told me, I was embarressed. "I cried as I ran out of the building and then fell to the ground and started crying very hard! so no! it does not help at all!" I yelled at Hans, he hugged me even tighter. "It's ok, Els, we'll get through it. I know how you feel." He said whole holding me tight, then he kissed me. "I love you.."
