[Connor X Kara]: Life Outside

It was a nice, sunny morning..

It was so awkward, the staring was starting to get to his head. Just looking at the little girl. Connor continued to watch Alice as she sat on the cushion, Connor sitting across from her on the other side.

"So how are you Alice."

Nothing, it was complete silence for both Connor and Alice. Just the two of them. In Kara's shared home, alone.

"You killed those people."

Connor was shocked by that response, trying to come up with an immediate reason as to why he did that.

"Well, I convinced that I was just an android. Something that wasn't alive, something that just obeyed orders. But I soon learned that if I can feel human emotions, then I'm more human like everyone else." Connor responded, watching as Alice continued to stare at him.

"And who told you that." A new voice had entered the conversation , Connor looked towards the doorway as he saw Kara.

Kara was holding a tray with three cups on it. A smile on her face as she sat down next to Alice, placing the the tray on the table in between them.

"Oh..she was my creator, her name was Y/n. She was the best, she saw me as more of a human and loved me as one. Till..Cyberlife took her away from me." Connor looked away, as he remembered your face. How lifeless it looked.

Ok, I know that androids don't eat or drink. Let's just say that Connor is just drinking a cup of thirium. Like he was drinking a cup of blue blood, ok? 😂

"Did she mean alot to you?" Kara asked, holding out a cup of thirium towards Connor.

Connor gradually took the cup of thirium and looked down at it in silence. "She meant so much to me, that she even broke the rules for me.  Just so we could be together."

Alice who was once ignoring him, was soon listening on.

"Did she love androids." Alice you soon joined in, asked Connor

"Yep she loved everyone, but enough about me. Tell me how's life outside treating you."

Kara placed her almost empty cup on the table. Looking down to give Alice a smile, and rubbing her arms for some reassurance. "I had recently enrolled Alice into an elementary school, I have a job working at a pet store. But everything is great right now."

"That's amazing Kara, but what about the people you miss?"

Kara looked shocked as she took time to comprehend what Connor asked.

"Yes....I still miss Luther. I know back at that camp, he sacrificed himself for me and Alice's happiness. But I feel that I should've done something different, and maybe he would still be here. Connor watched as Alice gripped onto Kara, making sure that she wouldn't cry.

"How's the police station?"

"Its still great, Officer Reed still doesn't enjoy me, but me and Lieutenant Anderson are more closer than ever." Connor's smile returned on his face as he spoke.

This caused Connor to go on a full discussion of Lieutenant Anderson. The times he was told to not 'lick' the evidence. Or when he chose clothes for Hank. His special moments with Sumo.

I laughed way too hard when Hank told Connor not to put any evidence in his mouth. 😂😂 Gotta find that gif.

It was now late at night, Kara had already placed Alice in bed. Both of them still out in the living with late night cartoons showing on the TV. The lights were off making it a struggle to see, but the TV on had illuminated some light.

A blanket that Kara provided was around their shoulders.

Both Connor and Kara laying on the couch together, Kara snuggled up under Connor's arm. Connor's head rested peacefully on top of Kara's.

"Connor."

"Yes Kara."

"Have you always thought of having a family together with someone?"

"A family?" Connor moved his head as he was looking down at Kara. "Hank and Sumo are my only family left-."

"No..I mean finding a women or... a man that can make you happy." Kara moved from her comfortable position,  to a more relaxing position as she watched Connor.

"The first person I would think of was taken away from me, Hank was enough, but I maybe I'm too attached to him."

"So what are suggesting?"

"That you love and care about me, I knew my wrongdoing's during the revelution. And I suggest that your my family." At this point, Kara was as close to Connors face as possible.

Soon Connor swooped in and stole a kiss from Kara, it was simple yet sweet. Something Connor was new at. Kara placed her hand on his cheek as she pulled him closer, the blanket that was once around them was starting to fall.

They soon pulled back as Kara gave a small laugh, brushing her short, blonde hair aside.

"Who taught you how to do that?"

"No one in particular." Connor smirked, pulling Kara into another kiss.

Alice peeked her head around the corner as she spotted the TV on. Her initial plan was to watch whatever was on, but she stopped herself as she saw her mother and Connor together on the couch.

But she soon gave out a loud gasp as she saw them both kiss, this caused both androids to stop their naughty shenanigans.

Yo!! Your girl just got her prom dress. Woot Woot!! And it's a Royal Blue color. I'm so excited.
