~Chapter 12~

Your POV

You slapped him.

SMACK!

He kept kissing you but he didn't let go, or even do anything when you slapped him. He only pulled away and smiled and kissed your forehead before leaving. 

"Oh, My sweet princess, (Y/N). I love you." He said and with that he left leaving you with your jaw held open. 

Kyoto POV

I kissed her. 

I kissed her.

I kissed (Y/N).

She didn't kiss back, but she did slap me. Very hard. When I left her room I winced and held my now red and slightly swollen cheek. Mother would question my cheek later but I can say I bumped into a maid. 

Oh my sweet princess (Y/N), she was glorious. I turned around a corner to visit another princess and check in on them. I knocked on the door and poked my head inside. It was a a girl named Marybelle (I don't know guys cut me some slack on the name okay? thx). She seemed to be dancing but it was more like a chicken running around be strangled. 

"Hello, Marybelle." I said and smiled. She blushed stopped dancing and smiled back.

"Oh, hello Prince!" She eagerly said and bowed deeply. I scratched the back of my head nervous all of a sudden. 

I have dismissed lots or princess before her but she seemed so happy. So I might have to do this now before any hard feelings come before. 

"I'm dismissing you Marybelle." I blurted out. Her smile faded as those words left my lips. I smiled a sad smile and her trying not to hurt her feelings but she cried. She just fell to the floor and cried and crawled and clawed at my legs yelling. 

"What did I do wrong?" She screamed at me sobbing loudly.  I patted her head and told her to pack her clothes and a carriage would be waiting for her then left. I went to another and it more of the same.

After dismissing more than ten girls. I sighed and went back to her room. When I knocked and opened the door she was sitting on the bed her back facing toward me and she was looking at something on her bed in front of her. Ï chuckled and she turned around and said

¨I never liked  you anyways, you fruit turd*.¨ she said. I only laughed and walked over and sat next next to her on the bed. She shoved what looked like a map under her bed quickly and scooted away from me. 

"Why are you here?" She asked not looking at me.

"Why can't I be here?" I asked and played with a strand of her hair. She pushed my hand away and shrugged. 

"Your face has a mark on it." She bluntly and she pointed to my red and slightly swollen cheek. I smiled and nodded. 

"Yeah it hurt." I said truthfully. I leaned toward her and this time she didn't move away she only looked back at me. I leaned closer so we were close and only inches apart. 

"I wanna protect you, (Y/N)...can you let me do that?" I asked in a sigh. She nodded slowly like she was in a trance. I leaned closer and closed the gap between. My lips met hers. Her were slightly cold but soft like before as I kissed her.

And I may have imagined it, but I think she kissed back. Only for a second.
