Chapter 5

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait. Are you sure about this Rapunzel? I mean, she looks harmless" I immediately protest as I look back over at the beautiful girl.

Rapunzel glares at me. "Are you doubting me Jack? I can feel how strong her presence is; and it's not a good one" She hisses.

The girl is now making her way down the hall and dissapearing out of our sight. I bite my lip, I want to help her around the school because she is new, but I don't want to let Rapunzel down.

"I'll be right back," I snap quickly as I drift down the hall away from Rapunzel. I can tell she's going to be really pissed at me after what I'm going to do now.

I fly low over the crowd of students and spot her head of snow white hair in the flow. I slowly descend downwards and land swiftly in front of her.

        The girl looks up from the floor startled to see me standing there. She trips over her dress in shock but I quickly grab onto her before she can fall backwards. When I look into her eyes, I'm immediately captivated. They look like melted pools of blue ice and I'm immediately lost in them. But soon I'm snapped back into reality and I quickly let her go, gripping my staff nervously. 

"S-Sorry," I mumble. 

She gives me a small smile and nods simply. "It's Ok, if it wasn't for you I would be completely embarassed right now" She laughs.

"Yeah, I've been told that I was a life saver. So, I was just wondering if you needed any help being shown around the school?" I ask anxiously.

The girl widens her smile in relief. "Yes, I'm actually really lost. This school is just so big; I'm trying to look for my locker number," She chuckles.

I stare blankly at her, she was so beautiful when she smiled. "What is-" I start to ask before I am unfortunately interrupted by my loud and obnoxious best friend Hiccup.

"Hey Jack! There you are, did you make up with Punzie yet?" He screams at me from down the hall. 

I turn around and give him a dark, cold look. 

"Whoa, what's with the dead eyes all of a sudden man?" He laughs as he slings his arms around my neck, attacking me from behind.

The girl chuckles softly from in front of us. Hiccup immediately notices her and starts to gape.

"Well hello. You are one fine lady," He grins his classic smile as he steps between her and I.

"Hiccup," I groan in annoyance. 

He ignores me. "What's your name beautiful?" He smiles as he takes her hand in his and plants a small kiss on it.

The girl immediately blushes. "Um, E-Elsa," She stutters.

"That is a beautiful name my dear, so, have you gotten the grand tour of our equally as beautiful school?" Hiccup presses.

I step between them now. "I was just about to show her to her locker," I say, hinting in my eyes at what was going on.

Hiccup raises his brow. "Oh, so Jack called dibs on you already huh?" He huffs dissapointedly.

I roll my eyes. "I didn't call anyone, I'm just trying to help her out," I sigh in defense.

"Right, let's see how Rapunzel feels about this" He scoffs as he speeds down the hall away from us. 

I close my eyes and turn back to Elsa. "I'm Jack by the way, Jack Frost. Sorry about him," I smile trying to slip out of my annoyed state. 

Elsa's mouth drops open. "Really? Aren't you that boy who's winter or something?" She asks excitedly.

"Yeah, I guess you could say that" I reply.

"I thought I was the only one who had the power to posses snow and ice" She grins happily. "Thank god I'm not" 

I stare at her in shock. "What? You can control snow and ice?" 

She smiles. "Yeah, see," She closes her palm and when she opens it, a burst of white fluffy snow cascades towards the sky and flies back down towards the floor, melting slowly on the tile.

I can't believe it. There was actually someone in this world who was like me! But how could she bring darkness to Craft? For the first time; were Rapunzel and her premonitions wrong? 

"That's amazing," I smile. She truly was.
