NAME: Cheryl Blossom ( Cheryl Bombshell ) CELEBRITY | FICTIONAL Cheryl Blossom is a character on the CW's hit show Riverdale. Her actress is Madelaine Petsch, whose hair is naturally that color red. Cheryl was a mystery from the beginning of the show, and misunderstood throughout most of it. However, we've caught glimpses of her with lovers. It was assumed that she was infatuated with Archie Andrews at one point and she was flirting with Nick St. Claire when he arrived so we could only assume that red-haired beauty was heterosexual and that us girls wouldn't have a chance with her even in our wildest dreams.
However, it was revealed later that she was a bisexual character when Toni Topaz and Cheryl met. They formed a relationship and their ship name is Choni. The first glimpses of them together insinuated that they both had feelings and just weren't acting upon them. It was finally confirmed when they had their first kiss together. It proved that Cheryl was indeed a confirmed bisexual and will remain in said category until said or proven otherwise.
Madelaine Petsch- who plays Cheryl herself -has actually openly talked about Cheryl's bisexuality. Here's a quote from her from Refinery29.com. "'[Cheryl] is still figuring out what her sexuality is. She is definitely interested in both women and men, so I would say she is bisexual. I think you're going to see a lot more of her figuring out who she is.'" So, as said, she's bisexual until we're to assume otherwise.
