Once upon a time, the moon cursed a young boy to turn into a horrific monster at every full moon. As soon as moonlight fell upon the land, the boy would morph into the skins of a dragon in agony. It could think and love like a human, but its dragon instincts would still be there. The boy was forced to fight his monstrous dragon instincts as he battled for sanity. Once daylight broke, he would transform back to his normal self, but he remembered very little of the night, almost as if as he had been asleep.
At the harvest moon, however, the boy would have to suffer the pains of being a dragon every single night until a week had passed from the harvest moon. So was the legend. But it was real.
This boy was Hiccup.
