I haven't yet decided how long I'm going to make each chapter. I will probably make them longer in the future because Naruto is really long and this book is going to end up being over a hundred chapters long with my pace. Enjoy :)

The next morning I awoke to realize Kakashi had gone. I got up and put on a white button up with black shorts, a black jacket, and corset style thigh highs. (See picture)

I looked over to the window and considered leaving that way to avoid Kakashi, but I learned my lesson yesterday. It would just make it worse later on.

Why did I have to be his student out of all of the Jonins that I could have been with? I shook the thought away. Beggars can't be choosers.

I sighed and made my way to the kitchen and was surprised to find Kakashi wasn't cooking anything this morning. Instead of being in the kitchen, he had been waiting for me on the couch.

I walked over to him and sat down on the couch.

"Ayame, don't eat any breakfast today. We're going to be training this morning," Kakashi explained. I nodded and got up. Relief flooded through me. He didn't talk about last night.

I headed out the door and made my way over to the training grounds. It seemed I was the last to arrive except for Kakashi.

Naruto and Sakura seemed to be fighting over something and Sasuke was glaring at both of them.

Kakashi arrived late as usual.

"Sorry a black cat crossed my path so I had to go the long way around."

"A black cat!? That's why you were late!?" Naruto jumped up and looked at Kakashi with disbelief. Sakura seethed and Sasuke seemed indifferent.

"Now then, today you will all be fighting me in the hopes of getting a bell. If you succeed you will become true Genin, but if you fail you will be sent back to the academy." Kakashi held up 3 bells.

"Why do you only have three bells?" Sakura asked. It was strange that he would only bring 3 bells since 4 people would be participating.

"Because only 3 if you will be able to pass," Kakashi explained. "Good luck." I retreated into the woods along with Sakura and Sasuke. It seemed Naruto planned to fight him already.

I didn't have much hope for Naruto or Sakura, Naruto had only mastered the clone jutsu which wasn't very good for a battle with Kakashi. And Sakura hadn't mastered any jutsu that would help her in a battle.

Although I hated to admit it, it seemed Sasuke and me were about the most qualified to take him down and I wasn't even very good at performing jutsu. My taijutsu abilities however far outranked Kakashi at night, so I would still be a bit stronger in the day.

Sasuke seemed he could hold his own in a fight, but I really didn't want to be stuck with him. I decided to team up with Sakura and Naruto to prevent Sasuke from passing.

I used my ears to try and hear where Sakura was and my ears picked up her talking in no time. I made my way over to her and found her scanning the bushes eagerly. Most likely for Sasuke.

I jumped down beside her and she let out a surprised shriek. Great.

"Sakura, do you want to team up with me to get a bell?" She looked at me surprised.

"You know I won't help anyone but Sasuke with this, because I need to make sure we both make it. I'm sure you can understand, besides you could probably beat him on your own." She smiled at me and ran off to find Sasuke.
