Questing the line (Small Hiatus, Sorry)

Chapter 3 part 1

|Notice: This takes place early in the morning after that Chapter 2 filler(it was going to be a Bendystraw smut but I can't write that shit =T|

Cuphead's POV

"Why are you leaving?! You should stay Bendy!" I yelled grabbing Bendy's wrist.

We were just reunited! He can't go! He doesn't know how much I missed him...

"Cup, let go!" Bendy yelled at me tearing his hand away from me.

"Go! Bendy, I'll hold him back!" Mugman yelled as he held me close.

Bendy nodded. He turned away with Boris and they started to walk away. Bendy turned around and looked back at us. Mug held me closer as I yelled and squirmed. My own brother had betrayed me...

"Bendy! Don't go!" I screamed letting tears fall down me cheeks as Bendy turned around and ran away with his brother.

They were gone. Just like that. One day they're with us but the next, they're gone. I bit Mug's arm violently. The pain was unbearable, he screamed and pulled away. I pushed him over then kicked his head.

'I'm sorry, Mug, but I can't live knowing that my brother will just stop me from going after them,' I looked down at him.

I picked up Mugman and walked over to the flower bed. I put him down and placed a flower crown on him. I walked away. I felt like crying but I knew that I had to go after Bendy and Boris before they got too far away. I went through my bedroom window. I packed some things like food, water, and clothes then left.

???'s POV

I looked over from my spot on the far side of the flower bed to see a blue shape wearing a crown of flowers. I went over to see what it was and it was him, the younger twin cup, Mug.

"Mug! Wake up! It's me, Cagney!" I called to him, lightly patting his head.

I noticed the cracks on his head. How did I not notice a fight? Was it really that quiet or was I so focused on meeting my boyfriend.

"Cagney? Are you ok?" Cagney looked over at the blue ghost who just arrived.

"'Spec....." I started to cry a little. He floated over and I hugged him, "Someone hurt him! Someone hurt Muggy!"

Blind Specter looked at me with sorrow. I glared at him and let go. I huffed. He didn't believe me...

"Cagney, I'm sorry about this but Mugman was one of the Soul Hunters. We shouldn't help him," Specter sighed trying to convince me into leaving him.

I glared at him and picked up Mug.

"He helped me recover after Cuphead took my contract! I have to do something in return!" I unrooted myself from the ground. I started walking away. Surprisingly, Specter followed. I looked back at him but he looked away.

"I'm coming to make sure he won't hurt you," Specter huffed, crossing his arms and blushing a lot.

We took Mug home an went out to find Cuphead to tell him about what happened to his brother. The two brothers have never been separate like this. Ever since Kindergarten they have only trusted eachother. Everyday they would sit away from the rest and hold hands. Cup would attack anyone who dared to get close. The only two he was open to was Mugman and Bendy.

I sighed, 'those were the good days.'

Eventually, we found Cuphead by a river. Every river lead to Crystal Springs. It is the most clean water source but the problem is, it is in the middle of Dorbarrow- the forest of rouges.

"Why? Hell, Mug is probably dead. Why did I hurt him? Oh right, he kept me back. Yet he was my brother and I hurt him," Cuphead cried.

He turned his gun fingers to his left shoulder and shot his shoulder. Specter and I exchanged a look of confusion and horror.

He hit the ground with a thump but got back up, "Don't worry Mugs, I'll bring back Boris and Bendy."

He stood up and set off running even though he was bleeding. I turned to Blind Specter.

"Let's go back and tell Kettle that he's going to Inkhorn," he nodded and started to float away and I followed.
