The next thing I remember was the smell of really bad food and the beeping sound of a heart monitor. I opened my eyes and saw myself in a hospital bed with my best friend Reagan reading vogue in the chair next to me. I tried to say something but my throat felt so dry. I could only make out a weak voice. "Hey," I whispered hoarsely.
"Thank god you're finally awake,"she whispered back, mocking me.
"Can you please get me a drink of water?" I asked her
"Yeah of course," she said, stopping to press the assistance button on the remote next to my hand.
"You are the laziest person I have ever known," I told her, grinning.
