Leo POV:

I set my whole village on fire and they never want me to come back. I had destroyed everything within 30 minuets just because of curiosity. I've ruined everything and there was no turning back.

It was a great summer day. Nice and warm; a little breeze here and there. The sun was out and it was the festival for the water god. It's such a shame that one stupid mistake ruined it all.
" Leo, honey don't take to long in your room you gotta go meet up with your friends Violet and Robby" my mom yelled. I rushed out after she mentioned them. They were my best friends. Everything was great then. I had a crush on Violet and I made sure to look the best I can especially for the festival.
It was traditional for young ones around the age of 8-12 to get paired up to dance and hopefully set a future engagement. I'd hope to impress her parents by looking the best and acting the best. Also stay away from the topic of fire.
Ah what an interesting thing fire was. Who know a little interests could ruin my whole life and turn into obsession. It had taken everything from me but yet it still fuels up satisfaction in me. Who know the thing you love could ruin you? If only I knew. I would change that day for any for any price.
After getting ready I left to go be with my friends. They were the only ones I had because like me they were weirdos just like me. Robby was into ice rather then water, and Violet was into nature. They were much better at hiding their other interests. I guess me being more out there about it got me to meet them. I was laughed at for saying " Fire sounds awesome" or stuff like that.
" Hey Fire boy" Violet calls out. I let out a slight smile.
"Hey flower girl," I called back. She hates flower girl out of all the nicknames. She gives me a sour face.
"Uh," Robby says then lower his voice, "hey Robby how yah doing?" He then answers himself in his normal voice.
"Pretty good thanks guys!". Robby gets mad sometimes if me and Violet seem to not notice him. He's too uptight sometimes but he was fun.
" Hahah, come on Robby don't be such a downer. You know what we should do a special offer for the water god. Like maybe a flower from me, a thing from Robby, and a special fire shrine to take it out." Violet said. At the moment I thought it was a great idea. Id set something on fire and the great god will take as a gift to use her powers.
" Hold up, me and yours sounds fine, but Leo's? Something fire related, he would get banned!" Robby implied.
"Don't sweat it, I won't set anything on fire, it will be for her to set on fire." I explained. Robby agreed but wasn't so sure about it.

We had made our gift offerings and were ready to hand them in under the great tree. Every year we put all our gifts under the tree for the water god to take and help us with the water power. If we displease her we must doing extra gifts and sometimes sacrifices towards her.
I had made my special fire to set our gift where it was a wooden box and in that was paper to be set on fire. It was fun to make something that's acceptable and related to fire. I was tempted to set on myself, I am a water fairy I should be able to take it out with no problem.
"Earth to Leo!" said Robby, I jolted out of my thoughts.
"Um yeah?" I replied.
"It's time to turn in our gifts but it shouldn't be too obvious, especially yours everyone is gonna know you made it." Violet said. We nodded and head out to place our gifts.
We split up to hide of gifts and this is where I screwed up. I put it in a good spot, but temptation got the best of me. If I set it on fire and replace the paper it would be alright. I then decided to light it up. It burned and made the best smell, color mixture I've seen. I was too busy admiring it that I forgot to take out the fire. I had soon caught everything on fire all the gifts and the tree.

"The water god won't be pleased at all, and it's your sons fault!" One of the councilman said. I had caused the destruction of the water tree, all the gifts, and a few homes.
" I'm sorry it was a mistake I'll volunteer to be a sacrifice for her, I'll make myself pay!" I spoke out. Everyone looked at me with hate and Pity.
" why would she want you? You are unworthy. Killing you would be offensive to her so why don't you do us a favor and leave!" Another councilmen said. They all looked and seem to agree.
" he's just a boy he can't go on his own!" My mother pleaded. She was crying and begging to them.
" Mom it's okay, I'll go. It's my fault I'll pay the price," I said. I've accepted my faith, I was the village disappointment.

*back to now after meeting skye*

" how long have you know this Owen guy?" Skye asked.
" Quite a while actually maybe a year after I left my village, we both wonder around a lot. He never knew his parents either just this guy for while and he picked up a few things from him." I explain to her. She nods and we continue to fine him.
" LEO! Wait who is she?" He asked as he robbing a stand. His eyes widened. Skye looked concerned at that moment. That's when we all knew we were in for it.
