"Yes, yes. It was ... warmer then," Yume said with a laugh "I was harvesting the berries out back, Maria was out at the village, Juri came and seemed so confused. I offered her inside to collect herself, but the whole time she kept talking about Nullendroit,"

"Nullendroit?" Alice repeated with shock

"Yes, I was the same,"

"What's ..." Subaru stopped himself, what if this was something the Hatter knew?

"It's the most desolate place of Contefee," Maria answered "Anyone who goes there either comes out as someone else or not at all,"

"Ah ... yes, of course," said Subaru

"Don't tell me she's there!" said Elza

"I-It's where I sent her," said Yume

"Darn it!" Elza cried

"It can't be that hard," said Subaru "You -"

"You can't fly to Nullendroit!" Elza yelled "That place is an enigma! These wings will get us no where closer then the boarder! No one even knows how big or small that place is, Juri could be anywhere along with any poor unfourtunate souls that wondered there,"

"How hard can it be?" Subaru asked "Maybe you can't fly in there, but we can still go in and come out. It's a place! How bad can it be?"

"Well ... we've heard stories -" said Alice

"Stories aren't proof," said Subaru "Let's go there and get Juri!"

"You're certainly determined," said Yume "But ... it's harder then it may sound. I remember ... just looking at that place once. I couldn't sleep for days ... it must be a terrible place to be,"

"But we can handle it! Right guys?"

Elza grumbled.

"I ... Well, let it never be said danger didn't include risk," said Alice "I guess we don't really have a choice,"

"So ... I guess we're going then," said Subaru

"Now?" Yume asked

"The sooner the better," said Alice "People have ... people have died from this storm,"

Subaru took Alice's hand for comfort "We need to stop Lillie from freezing Contefee," he said "So that means acting now!"

"Maybe it should be tomorrow," said Maria

"And why's that?" Elza asked

Subaru slept in the cold living room with Alice and Elza, he couldn't sleep. It felt weird to sleep during a dream ... at least he thought it was a dream. It was becoming harder to tell.

"Is Elza asleep?" Alice asked

"Hmm?" Subaru turned next to him, Elza was sleeping on the sofa. She looked like she was sleeping, that was good enough for him. "Yes," he said

"Good," Alice whispered "Subaru, what did you mean when you said that 'You knew Yume'?"

"I ... I don't really know," said Subaru "this dream is becoming more confusing, I don't even know if it's a dream or not,"

"Um ... it's not a dream," said Alice "I'm real,"

"But that doesn't make sense!" said Subaru "Tea pots don't fly, people don't bring winter in the summer with witchcraft, and they certainly don't fly!"

"Maybe not where you're from -"

"I can't even remember where that is!" Subaru said in a loud whisper, almost not even a whisper. Alice shushed him as he went on "Nothing makes sense! I want to go home but I don't even know where or what that is!" There was a long pause before Subaru said "But when I was with Yume ... everything almost seemed to make sense again. But I felt ... sad for some reason,"

"Well ... maybe she's in your world," said Alice "I think that you are from a similar reality as her!"

"As who?"

"Um, let me explain," said Alice "Not too long ago, only a couple years ago, a girl named Yume came here from another reality. I came to the conclusion knowing there was another her in this world. Maybe, our universes have collided again,"

"I don't know what universe I have been in or am in," said Subaru "But ... it's a possibility,"

"Thank you so much for hospitality," said Alice once the sun had rose the next morning. "You have done so much for us,"

"And you to us," said Maria "But we should warn you about the wanderer in Nullendroit, stories told of someone who pretends to guide your way but really leads you astray,"

"Stories aren't proof," Subaru repeated "We'll be fine, thank you,"

"Your welcome!" Yume said with a smile "Hey, before you go, I want to give you these!" Yume handed each person something that looked like a small star. "You crush them between your fingers when you need help and help will come,"

"Like flares!" said Subaru

"Um ... sure, I think. Whatever those are," said Yume "Well, good luck!"

"Thank you, again,"

"Enough small talk," said Elza, stuffing the star into her pocket "Let's go! Another storm is coming and I don't want to get caught up in it! Let's go!"

"Well ... goodbye," said Subaru

"Goodbye," said Yume

"Bye," said Maria

"Bye!" said Alice right before Elza grabbed her hand, grabbed Subaru's hand, then flew off.

Subaru, Alice, and Elza stood at the border of Contefee and Nullendroit, just starring into the dark abyss ahead of them. "Well ... we can't move forward if we keep going back," said Subaru "Let's go, come Alice, Elza,"
