Note to reader: I am writing a novel in the form of newspaper clippings, interview transcripts, voice memo transcripts and experiment journals. This is a test to see how I do at writing a newspaper clipping. There is obviously a lot more going on in this story than just what is in the report.

The body of Frank Mulrainey, 20 year teacher at local high school, was found mauled by an unidentified animal near his home near Diamond Drive in Norman, Oklahoma. He leaves behind a wife and four children. Authorities are investigating, but the animal that perpetrated the act is not to be found.
Sgt. Bill Morris, spokesperson for the Norman Police Department, said that Frank Mulrainey, a 47 year old male, was found near the intersection of Diamond Drive and Jade Rd just to the east of a row of mail boxes in a thick patch of briars and low scrub trees.
Witnesses in the area say that Frank usually goes out walking early in the morning. Kyle Bradford, a neighbor of Mulrainey's who lives on Diamond, who owns the property upon which Mulrainey's body was found, stated that Mulrainey "goes out walking every morning." Bradford added "He causes my boxers to go into a barking frenzy every morning."
Investigators stated that the animal in question is suspected to be a mountain lion or possibly a bear, but a mountain lion is a more likely cause.
Mulrainey's wife could not be reached for comment. She has been committed to Norman Regional Hospital on a psych evaluation, and is under a doctor's care.
Another neighbor who would not go on record stated that he saw something bound out of the woods on his way to work that flashed past his headlights. He said it was not a mountain lion, but (according to him) had more than four legs.
At the publishing of this report, the investigation is continuing. More will be reported upon further information.
