[The following is a voice memo recorded on June 18th, 2018.  Alicia Davies is a reporter for the Norman Transcript based in Norman, Oklahoma.  She recorded this memo on an iPhone SE using the voice memo app.]

I didn't get much out of the wife.  Mrs. Mulraney is incoherent at best.  I'll have to interview the coroner later today and make a note to press him about the condition of the body.  Still haven't been able to get in to see Mr. Mulraney.

Tried to get in contact with Mulraney's mother where the kids are staying right now, but she wouldn't answer the phone.  I don't think I should press the children at all, but I think his mother might fill in some pieces regarding Mulraney's relationship with his felon neighbor, Mr. Earp.

Only two of the neighbors would speak with me.  The rest of them gave me the no comment glare.  Mulraney's next door neighbor has a record.  Served sixteen years in Lexington for first degree murder but that was over fifteen years ago.  It seems that from what I could get out of Kyle Bradford was that the felon neighbor a guy named (pause, shuffle of papers) Derrick Earp was that Earp and Mulraney didn't get along.  Kyle wouldn't go on record, but I left the recorder running.  Mr. Bradford stated that Derrick Earp called animal control at least five times on Mr. Mulraney about a dog that Earp claimed was Mulraney's lurking around his house.  Mulraney claimed that the dog was not his, that he was only feeding it.  This has apparently caused a feud between the two men.  Kyle Bradford claimed that Derrick Earp, the felon, had a grudge against Mr. Mulraney.

Note: Make an appointment with the coroner to see the body.  Get Jack to sign off on it so he doesn't crawl my case when I go without permission again.  (laughter).
