Chapter 2

Kara's P.O.V
It has been a couple days sense the incident. Me and Mon-el have been hanging out a lot. Meanwhile I have been trying to ignore James even at work which is difficult. Over the days my crush on James has started to go away. My love life is a train wreck at this point. Will I ever find love? Man feelings are hard.

Nobody's P.O.V
Kara did her daily routine and started working at her desk in catco. Then James walked up to Kara, her back still turned to the computer screen, and tapped her shoulder.

She jolted up,"Um... Hey James, what do you need?"

"Kara We need to talk...alone" He stared straight in her eyes

Kara suddenly starts to tense up and her palms getting sweaty," U-uu-um..
Sorry I have to go somewhere like right now," she stuttered as she got up out her chair and walked away quickly.
"Kara wai.." James started.
"No I'm sorry James I really have to go

Mon-el's P.O.V
I got out my bed yawning as the sun rays spilled through blinds. I went to the bathroom and got ready using my super speed since I woke up late this morning. I made my way to catco as usual as I was walking towards my desk as I saw Kara walking away from James. I quickly turned around walking after Kara to see if she was ok. She jumped into the elevator and just before it closed I managed to squeeze in.
"Kara what's wrong," I asked in a worried tone.
"Oh it's nothing you should worry about I'm fine," she said with a sniffle
"Is it about James I swear if I see him again I will.."
"No need for violence I'm fine," she cut me off and started jogging once she got out the elevator.
We got out the building and Kara started walking towards the ally way. She was about 20 feet away from me as I saw a man with a sniper in a bush looking towards Kara. I look over to Kara and yell as I am using my super speed to get to her,"Kara watch out!.." I blinked and then saw Kara on the ground her skin glowing green and blood surrounding her body. This was no ordinary bullet she would have stopped it it had to be kryptonite. I got out my thoughts and with all my speed and strength picked up Kara and ran to the DEO. Why Kara...

Third Person
Mon-el reached the DEO in seconds as soon as he got there he screamed,"Help please Supergirl got shot,"
Alex and J'onn were the first to run over.
"What the Hell happened to her Mon-el!" Alex screamed in his face.
"Kara was sad and walked out of Catco and I saw a sniper and I ran with my super speed but this bullet managed to get to her and it has Kryptonite in it so now she's like this," Mon-el cried.
"There's no time for this we have to go stabilize her before the kryptonite spreads to her brain," J'onn states assertivly.
Kara starts getting more pale and cold.
"Agents here stat!" Alex shouts.

Mon-el's P.O.V
They take Kara out of my arms and put her onto the rolling bed towards the DEO ER and I start running after. I get stopped in front of her room. It was Alex.

"I'm sorry Mon-el you can't come in,"
She says calmly with tears in her eyes.

Mon-el starts to tear up too,"No.. please let me see her," He tries to push past Alex. Alex ques men to go over and try to push me back. I use my super strength and push past them all making sure not to hurt them.

I run to Kara,"I'm so sorry if only I was faster I could have took the bullet for you and you would be ok," I now have tears streaming down my face. Thoughts started to cloud my mind. Why do you even care she is a snobby Kryptonian. You are better than this scum you are a high Prince. Your mother and father would be ashamed. I pressed pass these terrible thoughts now left confused on,"Why am I caring,"

"Why am I feeling this way,"

"Why don't I hate her unlike before,"
I see Kara's eyes flutter open her still looking pale. Alex and the agents still trying to get in.

Kara sits up,"Hey be careful," I say helping her sit up.

"Hey you know I like you like like like you." Kara said drowsally. I stand there in shock about what she said. Kara then grabbed my face and we kiss. Her lips soft as clouds and smell of cotten candy. She pulls back and instantly falls back on the bed unconscious.
