3rd Person
Alex finally bust the door open sprinting to Kara, "Get the doctors NOW..the kryptonite is spreading faster than we expected," she screamed at one of the agents.
The agent ran quickly in fear while Mon-el was sobbing squeezing Kara's pale fragile hand,"Kara please stay strong we are going to help you, just please sta.."
Before he finished his sentence J'onn calmly but roughly pulled Mon-el out-side.
J'onn's P.O.V
It all happened so quick one minute we were calmly waiting for Kara to get to the DEO the next minute Kara was in the DEO ER on life support while I had to hold back Mon-el from going in. I tried to calm Mon-el but it didn't work after about 15 minutes of trying to calm him down I just let him go in the training room. Stay strong Kara stay strong....
Winn's P.O.V.
This whole situation has had me stressed. I speedily type away on my computer with my clammy fingers to try to calm myself. I see J'onn trying to calm Mon-el down and Alex and many others trying to get Kara in a stable condition. This makes me even more worried so I just go and check some files to help calm myself. I'm praying Kara...I'm praying...
Kara's P.O.V
All I see is darkness... I hear Alex crying and yelling orders at others,"Alex I'm ok," I say in my mind. Come on Kara wake up...
Mon-el's P.O.V
I finally calm down after 30 minutes and they have stabilized Kara which makes me even better. Alex approaches me eyes red as if tears were about to spill out at any moment,"Alex what's wrong is Kara ok,"
She shakes her head instantly making the tears fall down her cheeks. I frown.
"Alex what's wrong," I say firmly but gentle.
"W-Well we have stopped the spreading of kryptonite but it managed to get to her brain this is what caused her to have a seizure and stroke... which also is causing her brain to start to shut down.," Alex wiped her tears as they kept flowing out.
"What I'm trying to say is the condition Kara is in she is expected to live for 4 more hours,"
I stand there in shock not noticing the tears slowly dripping down my cheeks. I wanted to scream and shout so everyone in National City could hear. Why...Why Kara the most sweet, selfless Kryptonian I ever knew. What did she do to deserve this. It's all my fault if only I payed attention . If only I took that bullet she would be ok. I let out a loud sigh and looked at Alex with a tense and calm face.
"Can I please see Kara," My voice cracked a little.
"Y-yeah," she muttered.
"Thank you" I walked past Alex and quickly walked over to the room Kara was in.
Nobody's P.O.V
Mon-el soon reached the room slowly walking in as he saw Kara's pale,fragile body laying in the bed. He looked up seeing many sun lamps above her. Mon-el walks over and sits next to Kara.
"Kara pl-please just stay strong.. Stay With me be-because I love you," Mon-el tears up again.
Mon-el stays there for a while then suddenly he hears a faint noise.
"Mon-el..is that you?" Kara says in a dry, quiet voice....
Kara's P.O.V
Alex's crying and yelling soon went away. Now it's back to silence and darkness.
A while later...
I then hear what I'm guessing is the door open. Then light footsteps come closer to me. I start to slightly worry,"Who is coming near me,"
I hear a voice it sounds like Mon-el I decide to listen.
"Kara pl-please stay strong... Stay With me be-because I love you,"
As soon as he said that I had an urge to wake up. An urge to come back out of the darkness. I start walking in the darkness as Mon-el's voice got louder while echoing through my mind. I see a light not to far from me the shape of a door. I walk closer to the "door" as the darkness tries to pull me back in. I take all my strength and jump through the light. I start to open my eyes. Wow my throat sure is dry.. I look up to see Mon-el laying in a chair next to my bed. I manage to say,"Mon-el... Is that you?"
Nobody's P.O.V
Mon-el instantly shoots up and stares at Kara in disbelief.
"K-kara you are ok," He gives her a gentle hug and says,"Stay here for a sec ok," Kara nodded.
Mon-el runs to go get Alex.
Alex and Winn are working on a case as Mon-el comes running in giant smile on his face.
"Why are you so happy?" Winn and Alex say eyes still red from crying.
"Guys Kara is awake!" Alex was the first to react she harshly pushed Mon-el to the wall and yells,"Mon-el you really think this is some sick joke do you, I THOUGHT YOU CARED, but now you are trying to mess with me saying Kara is ok huh to make me feel better even though we all know she's gonna die!" Mon-el does not even flinch as Alex emotionally breaks down and slowly curls into a ball on the floor. "No Alex... she really is awake ok come with me to see," Mon-el reassures Alex. Alex stands up after a while and follows Mon-el to the room to see Kara standing up no longer pale and stronger than ever. Alex runs and to Kara giving her the tightest hug.
"Kara I thought you were going to die,"
Kara smiles,"it's alright now but can I get some water my throat is really dry,"
They all chuckle,"Yeah we will get you some water" Mon-el wrapped his arm around Kara.
