Chapter 1

Intro:
Kara has finally pressed passed her fear and decided that today she was going to tell her long time friend and crush James Olsen the she liked him. What she did not know is that James didn't even consider being in a relationship with Kara, he was to "in love" with Kara's best friend Lena Luther head of L-corp. Welp let's see what happens...
Kara's POV
I flutter my eyes open as I feel the rays of the yellow sun make me more powerful. I sigh and slowly sat up in my bed, "Today was the day," I tell myself. I super speed my way to the shower and brush my teeth. I check the time oh crap I'm about to by late. I quickly grab a banana and fly to Catco.
Third Person
Kara lands quietly in an alley way and starts walking towards the front entrance. She suddenly runs into James , she starts turning dark red,
"Oh James I'm so sorry," Kara then remembers what she was going to tell James later.
"It's fine," James said with a smile.
"H-Hey can we talk later," Kara stuttered still blushing wildly.
"Sure," there was an awkward silence. Kara just stares at the floor.
"Well we should get going," James chuckles punching Kara's shoulder lightly.
Kara's P.O.V
Well that was awkward. My god my cheeks are burning was I blushing that hard. I made my way up the elevator and got of just to have Mon-el bump into me.
"Watch out you snobby Daxamite," I harshly whisper.
"Back to you you uptight Kryptonian," I can not deal with this guy why did you have to be from Daxam.
"Kara!" Snapper yelled I jogged to his office as he scolded my latest article as usual.
Mon-el's P.O.V
I twirl in my chair to hear Snapper yelling at Kara. I smirk, turning back to my desk. Oh how I dislike the attitude of Kryptonions.
A few hours later...
Kara's P.O.V
After a long day of typing I decided it was the perfect time to tell James. I anxiously walk to his office.
Third Person
"Oh hey Kara I remembered you wanted to tell me something," James says shuffling through a bunch of paper work.
"Um... James," Kara goes closer to James.
"James I l-like you like love you like you," James starts to laugh.
"Are you serious tell me you are joking I know you love joking around Kara." James says still chuckling Kara's eyes start to tear up and she starts to back out of James' office.
"Oh... you are serious.Kara you already know I don't even consider us being together. You are like a sister to me and I am in love with someone else.
This was enough to make Kara snap, she ran out of his office tears streaming down her face. She then ran near the restrooms and started to sob.
Luckily Mon-el was just passing by and saw the heart broken Kara.
"Hey Kara you ok," A worried look came over his face.
Kara lifted up her head eyes red from crying, "What do you care," she sniffles.
"Well even though I hate your race does not mean I like seeing people sad," This makes Kara giggle.
"Do you want some company," Mon-el says gently.
"Yeah sure Mon-el. You know you are making me hate you less. Let's start on a clean slate." Mon-el slowly sat down.
"Well then, I'm Mon-el Prince of Daxam." Kara wiped her eyes.
"I'm Kara Zor-el of Krypton," Kara and Mon-el shook hands and sat in the same spot till the building closed.
