Laurance's POV
It was finally August. I had at least two weeks to freely hang out with (Y/n) before the first day of school.
I grin as I stood in front of her door. We has skyped yesterday. I had told her that my family wouldn't be coming back until next week. I wanted to surprise her.
I was holding a (f/c) (favorite flower) behind my back.
I take a deep breath and knock on the door. I hear a faint "I'll get it, dad! Don't get up!"
Seconds later, the door opens to reveal my beautiful girlfriend.
Her hair was tangled and all over the place. She was wearing a tank top and (f/c) pajama pants.
When she saw me, her face went bright red. "L-Laurance!"
I chuckle and hold out the flower to her. "You look beautiful."
"Laurance, I look like a rat." She accepts the flower and jumps into a hug.
I wrap my arms around her tightly. "A very beautiful rat."
She separates herself from the hug and looks up at me. I lean down and kiss her a little more harshly then intended.
When she pulls away, she laughs. "Damn, missed me that much?"
I grin. "You have no idea. I missed your face." I cup both her cheeks and kiss her nose. She blushes at this.
Then, she decides to slap my arm. "I thought you were coming back next week!"
"I wanted to surprise you!"
"You made me prepare myself for an extra week of mourning." She crosses her arms, but is careful not to hurt the flower.
"Is that what you've been doing these past two months?" I frown.
She shakes her head. "Hell no. As if I would let myself go into a state of depression. I hung out with the group occasionally. This summer was actually pretty fun."
I smile. "I'm glad. Now come on, invite me inside already. It's fucking hot out here."
"Right." She steps to the side to leave a walkway for me. "Ladies first."
"This again?" I grin as I walk in.
"Yes." She simply states. "Are you hungry?"
"Nah, Cadenza, Hayden and I got Wendy's on our way back to Phoenix Drop." I explain.
"Okay. My dad's asleep so if we can't do much. We can cuddle though." She looks up at me, hopeful.
"Sounds like a plan." I grin.
She smiles and we make our way upstairs.
"You go to my room, I'm gonna at least brush my hair." She walks into the restroom.
I head into her room and hop onto her bed. I look around, taking in the familiar room.
(Y/n) walks in and walks over to her CD player. She puts in (favorite album) and looks over at me.
I smile and open my arms. She giggles and lets herself fall onto the bed next to me. I wrap an arm around her and she nuzzles her head into my chest.
"How was the farm?" She asks.
"Fun. I had a great time. The days went by slower than I expected them to, though."
"Yeah, this summer went by slow." She sighs. "But that's okay. You re here now."
