[Monday Morning]

Did I get sleep?

No?

What kind of dumbass question is that?

Sleeping while knowing that you are going to see the girl that you love deeply. The girl who now hates you.

The sound of my annoying ass alarm pulls me away from my thoughts.

Wow.

Now that is definitely something I don't miss. The screeching sound of something that wakes you up.

You know what I do miss though?

Waking up to the sight of my precious laying beside me.

Her eyelashes rested on her cheeks as her eyes stay lightly shut.

Her cute puffy cheeks and the soft breaths that came out of her pink lips.

Her hair that dangled everywhere.

Her small hand that laid on my chest as she cuddled onto me.

Her cute smile when she woke up, looking me in the eyes.

Or the mornings where she would wake up before me.

The way she would skip over in her baggy shirt and cute sweats.

I miss it.

I miss her.

"Hey buddy!" Grayson's voice catches me off guard making me wipe the clear gloss over my eyes.

I cough out the lump in my throat.

"Hey." My weak voice lets out.

He gives me an assuring smile as he leans on the doorframe.

"Ready for this?" He raises his brow.

"Ready for school or ready to see.." I gulp down not daring to say her name.

"Both." He cuts me off.

I scratch the back of my neck before sitting up.

"I don't think anyone in my position would be ready." I admit.

He looks down, biting onto his lip as he knows I am right.

I end the awkwardness by jumping up off my bed and letting out a long sigh.

"Well!" I clap my hands together.

"Schools a bitch. Let's get ready." I say as cheerily as I can.

A laugh escapes Grayson's lips; replacing the frown he once had.

"Bahaha, okay then asshat" he yells out, walking away from my door.
