I do NOT own Teen Wolf

Season finale y'all!

I've just been so stressed lately, and then Youngblood came out and I've been religiously listening to that on repeat. And season finales are SO hard to write because if it's not done right it screws everything up. Again, very sorry!

Also, I kinda didn't like how the last chapter ended, but I wasn't gonna go and change that so I had to find a way to build off of that.

I know it wont make up for it, but I've made this chapter extra long and split it in two. Again, sorry, and I hope you're still enjoying the story.

"Stiles?" I said quickly, my breathing becoming fast.

He stumbled for words, before he stepped forward. "Okay, um, take deep breaths. You're okay. Just- uh- just breathe."

I did as he said, attempting to take a deep breath. Nothing happened, the air just seemed to swirl stronger around me.

"It's not working, Stiles," I choked, my voice shaking.

He took a cautious step forward, holding a hand out. When he was standing in front of me, I saw he was squinting as he tried to focus.

Taking a hold of my hands, he looked into my eyes. "Riley, just breath, okay? You're the strongest person I know, so take control of this."

I could feel the warmth from his hands and I could see the concern in his eyes. Nodding slowly, I closed my eyes.

All the events that had occurred since that night in the forest where Scott was bit flashed before my eyes. Everything had changed. Everything was different.

And now I had changed. I was different.

I heard a sigh of relief, and I peeped one eye open. My hair was back around my shoulders, my eyes were no longer blue, and the glow running down the veins in my arms were gone.

"Are you- are you okay?" Stiles asked slowly.

Keeping myself calm so that nothing happened again, I looked up from the ground to his eyes. "Do you think I'm okay?" I asked sarcastically. "Stiles, what's going on?"

His mouth opened and then shut, thinking before responding. "I was hoping you'd be able to tell me."

Letting go of his hands, I took a step back. "I think I've got to. . . I've got to go. I think I need to find my mum."

I turned on my heel and began to walk out of the room. This isn't what I wanted. I just wanted to be a normal girl with a normal life, and now this?

"Riley, stop walking away from me," Stiles pleaded as he reached for me.

I manoeuvred out of the path of his hand, standing and staring at him. We stood, just watching the other, hoping they'd make the first move.

This went on for what felt like forever, until I felt my phone begin to vibrate in my pocket. Breaking eye contact, I pulled the device out of my pocket.

"Mum?" I said quietly to myself as I read the contact name on the screen. Hitting the green answer button, I threw the phone up to my ear. "Mum? Is that you? Where have you been? I've been trying to contact you for hours."

Her breathing was low on the other end as she spoke quietly. "I can't explain. Not over the phone, at least. I need you to stay safe until everything calms down, and then I'll explain everything to you, I promise. Where are you?"
