"What's happened?" Gina leaned over to me, her eyes a bit narrowed.
I sighed and pushed her back to her seat. She leaned back and crossed her arms. "Clark is being annoying again."
"What did he do this time?" She chuckled. I stabbed my salad and forced it into my mouth.
I gagged a bit. "God, Gina. This is disgusting. Why are you forcing me to eat salad?" I willed myself to swallow, I was very picky when it comes to salad. I only eat certain vegetables.
"Healthy living," she merely said. She started eating her own with complete ease.
"Well I hate healthy living."
"Stop changing the subject!"
"Clark is just his usual self of being an annoying person." He changed all the names in my contact and changed all of my notebooks into blank ones. Apparently, he kept all my notebooks and all I got was empty pages. I was lucky enough we didn't have any upcoming test at the moment.
I opened my bag and reached to take my science book. I groaned when it was a children's book of Cinderella on my hand. I tossed it at the table.
"See!" I pointed at it. "He keeps changing my things! And it's not funny anymore, I'm serious. Not a bit."
"Talk to him?" She questioned, glancing at the small book.
"I did. And he's not taking it seriously. Now I'm ignoring him."
"No wonder." She snorted.
"Why?"
"I saw him around a corner a while ago." She started laughing. "Seems like he wanted to say sorry but you're ignoring him."
"Don't be stupid."
"It's true," she exclaimed. She pointed her fork behind me and wagged it. "Look behind you."
I sighed and I was about to turn around until he sat next to me and something came up to my face. Thinking it was another way to annoy me, I slapped his hand and glared at him.
"I'm sorry," he quietly said. I looked at his hand and saw different kinds of flowers and some of my favorite chocolates. "I got all your things." He patted the notebooks and books on the table and slid it towards me.
I glanced at him before taking the flowers, then I narrowed my eyes. "You plucked these flowers out from the garden of the school, aren't you?"
He gave an embarrassed laugh. "Yeah, kinda."
Gina cleared her throat. Clark and I looked at her but she didn't lift her head and kept on eating.
"So..." Clark said as he waited for my response.
"Fine. You're forgiven."

"Are you excited?" Alexa nudged me with her shoulder. "I mean—a few more days, you and Bruce are going to have a huge celebration." She placed the plate in the cupboard and took another wet plate from me.
"Of course I am. But I think the guests would be more excited than us. Bruce is there obviously. As long as he's there, everything is always important." I turned the faucet off and wiped my hands on the towel. Alexa put the plate again in the cupboard.
