Opening the World

Blue eyes,

Brown hair,

Black long eyelashes,

A young boy,

A teenager,

A nerd.

Closed himself from the world,

In his private world,

A bubble.

But he finally stretched his arm,

Closer,

And closer,

To the bubble,

That was trying to protect him,

From the real world.

Slowly his fingers started to uncurl,

Slowly he reached to pop the bubble.

A moment of worry,

Stopped him.

He closed his eyes.

POP!

The bubble was now broken.

He slowly opened his eyes.

He saw the world,

In new eyes.

There was dangers, hurt, joy, sadness.

It was beautiful,

Ice blue water,

Iris flowers blooming.

This was his now, new perspective,

Of everything.
