The sun shines beautifully, making people happy. Bethany, Becca, Mia, Chloe, and Hazel sat together on the schoolyard, talking about funny memories they had together while laughing and hugging each other at the same time.
Even though they were laughing, a sick feeling twisted Bethany's guts, reminding her what she needed to do. She looks at her friends, her smile slowly faltering.
"Umm guys, I'm sorry, but for now I must do this by myself, without any of you. This is my own problem," Bethany sobbed.
"What? But why Bethany?" asked Becca surprised.
"No Beth, we're all going with you."
All the girls nodded in agreement.
"Please. Don't. I just... Let me do this alone. I just can't tell you why. Sorry. This is my last decision, " with this, the tears that threatened to spill finally fell.
"You can't do that Beth. Please don't leave."
"Sorry guys, just know that I'm going to miss you all," Bethany says, grabbing her bag and running as fast as her feet could let her, leaving her best friends behind.
"BETHANY!"
Suddenly the atmosphere is not so sunny anymore and it creates a very gloomy atmosphere. Even the skies start crying looking at Bethany's leaving her friends.
They were best friends since high school. Little did the know that the 'incident' would separate them forever. Will they ever be able to reunite?
There was no light, no happiness or joy. But there was darkness, grey skies, and storms.
After all those years they spent together, she runs away. After all the time they supported each other, she leaves them. After all, they had been through. Bethany wasn't just a good person, she was the best person they had ever met. And this friend of theirs is leaving them all so suddenly.
