Christmas Is Coming

Bethany's POV

December is my favorite month of the year, maybe some people would say that too. Christmas means so much to me, the Christmas trees, Christmas songs, presents, cookies, lights, winter, hot chocolate, classic Christmas movies, and the best one is to have time with family and friends but I didn't forget if Jesus was born in the world.

Snows begin to fall and cover the ground, Christmas songs are playing everywhere, there are lots of kids out there playing and making a snowman. My mom told me to decorate the Christmas tree, I'm so happy to decorate the Christmas tree, it's one of my favorite things. Lily brings the Christmas tree ornaments and we're starting to decorate the tree, we want to make the tree looks amazing this year.

I texted the girls last night, I asked them if they could come to my home today and watching movies. I really want to spend this day with them. I'm so happy that they said they would come here. Hazel will bring tons of popcorn for us. Hazel said that she didn't celebrate Christmas last year and didn't spend much time with people. And I'm sure she's gonna like this Christmas.

Honestly, I already met Justice last week on Friday. We talked about lots of things, just a simple conversation. I invited him to come to my house this Christmas, it's not just only him but I invited people too, like my neighbors and friends. Justice said he will bring her family to my house, I actually have no idea about it, I'm getting nervous and awkward, I don't know what the hell is happening to me.

"Bethany, the cookies are ready. Put them on the table, please, " I heard my mom's voice from the kitchen, she was making some cookies for Christmas. I wanted to help her but she said she can do it by her self.

"Okay, mom!" I walk to the kitchen and see lots of cookies. I take one of them and eat it, the taste is so good, though.

After everything's ready, I decided to take a bath. I took a shower and used the hot water. The weather is getting cold so I'm not ready to go outside today, maybe I'll go tomorrow. My home is so warm and comfortable right now. My dad is in New Orleans, he had a job there and he will back here on Christmas Eve. I talked a lot with him before he went to New Orleans cause I'm trying to forget about what happened earlier.

Finally, I've finished showering and looking for my clothes. I got a phone call from Becca, she said to me they're on the way to my home, I can't wait for tonight. Our friendship is beautiful even though it's only been a few months but we're knowing each other. They supported me in the hardest time of my life, they made me laugh, we shared our stories together. I know we all have our own shortcomings but we're still happy together.

I walk downstairs and open the door. The snow is beautiful. I’ve liked winter since I was a little girl though I don’t really like the cold, winter is still my favorite season. And finally, the girls arrived! They come to my house and hug me. I tell them to sit and eat all of the cookies.

Chloe eats two chocolate cookies and she seems to like it a lot "Bethany, these chocolate cookies are delicious! Did you make these?"

"No, my mom did. She made all of the cookies. I just decorated the Christmas tree." I replied to her, I give Chloe more chocolate cookies and offer the cookies to the girls.

While eating the cookies, Becca tells me to watch a movie. We want to watch a lot of movies but Hazel gives us an idea to watch Home Alone first. People love Home Alone cause it's very hilarious and the most amazing Christmas movie ever! And we eat popcorn too, Hazel did bring it a lot.

"Guys, I feel so happy with you all in this Christmas. Thank you, " Mia said while hugging me and then the others.

"Mia you're so sweet. It's the first day of December and I'm so grateful. Can't wait for 25th December. It would be wonderful!" Hazel said to us, her eyes are full of happiness and joy.
