Josh followed the boy. It was all he did. He didn't care about what effected him or if he dared to do something else. The boy was the only thing he kept his mind on.
Josh followed him into a museum. He wondered why the boy would come to a beautiful place that was filled with pictures and fantastic art collections.
He was able to get in but he probably figured he wouldn't be allowed inside. So he hid around to avoid people. Through hiding, he was able to see who he was. As he watched him hang up some of his painting from his bag, he could tell that the boy was an artist; a painter to be exact.
Once the hall was clear, Josh quietly made his way over to look at the paintings and possibly try to meet him. As he looked, the boy knew that a man has stood next to him.
"Do you like them?" The boy asked.
Josh heard the boy's question. But he didn't want to look at him directly.
"Very much."
"It took only 6 days to make." The boy said. "I stayed up all night in order to complete them."
Josh looked at him; smiling.
"I think it's really pretty."
The boy looked up to Josh; smiling as well. However, the smiles faded between them; as if they were stunned at each other.
"Do you work here?" The boy asked.
"No." Josh replied. "I won't lie, I snuck in."
"You shouldn't be here."
"I know."
Josh looked down.
"I should get going."
He started to walk away from the boy to make his way out of the museum.
"I'm glad you like my work." The boy said.
Josh; looking down to the floor, smiled.
"Me too." He replied.
Josh walked out of the museum; while the boy watched him.
Josh walked back into the streets. He pulled out his bag of mentos and took a pieces and put it into his mouth; chewing and washing them down with water. He wanted to go back to the ally, but he decided to not to because he would be too afraid. Instead, he went to a nearby restaurant.
The people there were kind to the homeless by offering them food without paying a thing. Josh just asked for something simple because he wasn't that hungry.
As he ate, he thought about the boy he met. He really wanted to see him again. But he didn't know how.
