FORBIDDEN LOVE

Ch 18 BACK TOGETHER

A few weeks had passed, and Draco and I were back together.

Seamus was dating that Slytherin girl, her name was Cristal. Draco helped him to arrange a meeting with her.

Ginny and Neville were OK with our relashionship.

Almost everything went back as it was before Christmas.

I wasn't Head Girl anymore but I was still allowed inside the dorms.

Occasionally, when Ginny, Neville, Seamus or I were escaping from the Carrows, we would hide there.

I spent almost every night with Draco.

In a month or so we would go home for 10 days for the Easter holidays. I couldn't wait. Draco didn't want to go home, he had told his parents that he was staying at Hogwarts.

We were at lunch now, preparing our prank to do at the Carrow man in DA, which was our next lesson.

"Is it ready Neville?" I asked quietly.

"Yes! let's go"

A few days back, we owled Fred and George and asked them some of their new exploding products.

Once we explained the reason we needed them, they were almost too happy to help.

We headed towards our class early so we could put the exploding devices in their place.

One on Carrow's seat, so when he would sit, he will be thrown in the air.

I just couldn't wait. We were going to have so much fun today.

The bell rang.

All students were at their desks, I was impatient.

Draco was eyeing me curiously, I managed a small reassuringly smile.

That convinced him because he turned away.

"Silence students!" Amycus shouted.

I became even more impatient.

A few seconds later, he said: 

"Open your books and read chapter 18. The Killing Curse" he shouted.

The hell I am practising this.

He's so evil. Please sit, just sit down.

Oh my goodness! Why aren't you sitting down!!

He began pacing the room.

I became way more anxious.

After 10 minutes, he finally stopped pacing and walked to his desk.

Just sit! I beg of you!

Next to me, Neville stiffened.

Seamus was about to fall off his chair.

At last, he sat.

BOOM!!

The room went dark for a few seconds, and when we all could see, we found Carrow on the floor, panting.

Immediately the whole class started laughing. Slytherin included.

Neville, Seamus and I were bent in two, crying.

"That--was--just--awesome--" Seamus cried.

Someone grabbed my arm "Bella! It was you three, wasn't it? Are you crazy? If he knows it was you, you could be expelled or worse!!" He said angrily.

I just couldn't stop laughing.

Suddenly, the door burst open to reveal a very amused McGonagall. "What happened here?" She asked, almost too happily.

The students just kept laughing.

"Alright! Class dismissed. Go to your next class everyone! Those who have Transfiguration, go to your common room, straight away!" She commanded.

Neville, Seamus and I exited the class happily.

Classes are over for today. Mission complete.

We high- five and started walking towards our common room.

"Come to the Head Common Room, all of you! Call Weasley! I am sure she is involved in this too" Draco barked.

Neville and Seamus just nodded, still laughing. They knew I would never allow Draco to do anything that might harm them.

I was about to turn, to follow them, but Draco held me back. "Oh no, no, no. You are coming with me!"

"But my sister--"

"They will get her!" He said even more angrily than before.

Hmm. Weird. For a moment there, I thought I saw a smile on his face.

Now, he was beyond furious.

"Headmaster" he shouted the password at the portrait.

We headed inside and Draco turned to face me.

"Are you crazy, Bella! You four are just insane! What if they caught you, huh?! What if they expel you, or punish you, or worse take some of your family members prisoners to punish you, or even worse what if they take you!! I won't lose you again, do you understand me? So STOP IT, NOW!!" He shouted furiously.

"Draco relax. You won't lose me again" I said, hugging him. He sighed.

"You have to stop ..."he began.

"No problem! This was just priceless! It should last for a couple of weeks!" Neville snorted.

"You are genius, Ginny!" Seamus said in awe.

I grinned widely. Ginny was the best in pranks, only second to Fred and George.

"Wait until Ron hears this---" I stopped talking immediately, realising the stupid mistake I had made.

Ron was not here. My twin brother was somewhere out there, risking his life every day with my two best friends.

This, causing trouble here, is the least we could do to feel like they would be proud of us for not letting them win, that we were going down with a fight.

I started crying. I missed my brother so much.

I didn't just want to know that he was OK anymore. I wanted to see him, to hug him, to hear his insane stories.

I wanted my twin brother back.

"I am serious you have to stop for a while" Draco said.

We all nodded.

We spent the rest of the day hanging out in the Head common room.
