Suddenly someone took my arm and tried to drag me away. Draco.
"No. Not this again" I said.
"Bella, please" he pleaded.
I took his hand and followed him.
"DRACO" I heard a cold voice behind us.
Draco and I spun around. Lucius Malfoy was glaring at us. His eyes finally meeting our hands holding.
"Draco, we are leaving immediately!" Lucius said coldly.
He turned to go.
"NO" he said.
Lucius turned back to him and blinked "What did you say?"
"NO"
"Draco, unhand that filthy blood-traitor at once, WE - ARE – LEAVING!"
"You can leave. I am staying here to fight".
No one was paying attention to us.
Lucius's face pulled into a snarl. "COME ON, NOW OR I SHALL HURT HER THIS INSTANT!". He said glaring at me as if I were dirt.
Draco pulled himself in front of me, not letting go of my hand. "No," he said calmly.
Instantly my father came and picked me up fiercely. I struggled but it was no use, he was already carrying me away.
I watched Draco, his hurt eyes on mine. I love you, I mouthed.
I love you. His lips said. I saw Lucius pointing his wand at his son, and Draco fell and disappeared with his father.
My dad pulled me down, hugging me "Bella, Please"
I began crying so hard that I barely noticed Harry shouting, duelling with Voldemort.
Suddenly I realised something.
Draco had no fault in all of this.
Voldemort was the cause for all of this disaster.
He was the reason for Fred's death. And Remus' and Tonks'.
It was his fault, and he needed to pay for it.
I suddenly found myself yelling at Harry. "YOU CAN DO THIS, HARRY".
And with that Voldemort shot the killing curse to Harry, but his wand flew out in the air and Harry caught it. The killing Curse rebounded hitting Voldemort, and he died.
That was it.
Voldemort was dead.
It was over.
We were free.
Draco was free.
Harry was free.
And we were alive.
Cheers erupted in the Great Hall, as people shouted with enjoyment.
We stayed at Hogwarts, celebrating with the people who fought the war.
A couple of hours later, Harry dragged Hermione, Ron, and me to Dumbledore's office, where he recounted what happened in there and in the forest.
After that we went back to the Great Hall, to look for the others.
We met with my mom, my dad, Bill, Percy, George and Ginny. We all hugged each other.
"Let's go home," my father said at one point.
"Home?" Harry asked.
"The Burrow, of course," Ron said laughing.
"Home" I echoed. And with that we all disapparated hand in hand.
