I hated, absolutely hated this adoption center.

I miss Grandma more than anything.

We only ate, lunch and breakfeast..no dinner.

And Kait was SO annoying.

But today was adoption day!

Thank God.

I was determined to get adopted.

I got dressed in my favorite outfit.

I heard a bell ring.

"Okay, girls Adoption Day! Come downstairs!" I heard miss Suzies voice.

I looked in Kaits mirror and saw myself.

I was ready, I was really determined to get adopted.

Me and Kait walked down to the adoption room.

Everyone was playing.

I sat in the corner.

A tall girl walked over to me. She smiled at me.

"Hi cutie, I'm Charley!" She said. She was really nice.

I smiled back. "Hi, I'm Audrey!" I said, I giggled.

"How old are you sweetie?" She asked.

A boy walked up next to her. I looked at him confused.

"I'm ten, who's this?" I said.

"Oh, this is just kian he's just here to talk."

"Hey, what's up?" he said a bit rudely.

Charley took kian over to the corner.

I liked charley, but I didn't think kian liked me that much.

A few minutes later, charley came back. "We're back!" She said.

I noticed another boy with them. A beanie on, jeans, and a t-shirt.

I waved and smiled. "Hi, I'm Connor!" He said.

He whispered something to kian.

I kinda overheard it. "She's adorable." He said.

I smiled and giggled. I wondered if one of the boys was dating charley.

But, I wanted to be adopted by them.
