"how about we don't see other people."
"i think i can work with that." madelyn joked.
"great. good." alex stumbled. the moment was ruined when his pager started to beep.
"go. i'll see you later." said madelyn. alex let go of her waist and walked out of the room. she look over, to see meredith staring at her.
"oh, shit." madelyn mumbled under her breath.
"meredith, meredith!" madelyn called after her sister, who had started to walk away.
"meredith!" she said for a final time, grabbing her sisters arm and twirling her around.
"alex karev? alex karev!"
"look meredith, i'm sorry i haven't told you. everything just kinda happened last night."
"you slept with him!?"
"you slept with derek!"
"that was different. and i'm being mature about it."
"is it that different, meredith? is it really?"
"shut up. at least i don't sleep around. especially with guys like alex karev." meredith spat before turning on her heal and walking away.
meredith stood frozen for a moment, holding back her tears before she went to find somewhere where people weren't. she found an empty supply closet and sat behind one of the shelf's.
madelyn let out faint sobs, heartbroken of how her sister has treated her, in front of everybody.
meredith wasn't really good at saying the right thing when it came to her sister. deep down, she was just worried, but it came out as anger.
madelyn looked up as she heard the door open. she peaked around the corner to see a bobbing blonde ponytail.
izzie saw madelyn in the corner, and walked closer to her.
"hey, madelyn." she said in a soothing voice,
"hey, what's wrong?"
"mer said i sleep around. izzie, do i sleep around?" madelyn sobbed.
izzie pulled the brunette into a hug, her scrubs getting soaked with her tears.
