It was early in the morning I woke up to the sound of my beeping alarm ,barely even opening my eyes properly .
I stretched my hand over to cut it off and I reached for my glasses . I raised up and sat on the edge of my bed and suddenly a yawn escaped from my mouth . A few minutes after catching myself I quickly searched for my phone to message my best friend Alex ,remembering that it's his birthday today .
After sending his birthday message ,it was like he was there all along just waiting for that message .
Alex: hey ...thanks
Me: so what's the plan for today
Alex: idk..maybe we'll grab a pizza or go to the cinema .
Me : okay ...cool ..I'll see you at school ...bye!
Dashing my phone back unto the bed I quickly prepared myself and rushing out even forgetting about breakfast.
Remembering that my school was just a few blocks away I will stop by at Alex house and we can both walk together . As we walk something that I taught Alex would never ask me came out of his mouth .
May I ask you something? "said Alex". Sure ! I replied without hesitating to answer his question. Ammmm would you be with me if I ask you to ? I smirk at him tapping his shoulders I'll see you later A,walking away leaving his question unanswered . Alex and I took calculus together ,so I was sure he'd be expecting an answer from me .I didn't want to bell to go because I don't know what to tell Alex . As my remaining time ran out sweat began to form in the palm of my hands and streams of perspiration running down my face .I tried to act normal as possible and as soon as the bell went I packed up my stuff and went to the washroom to wash my face .
When I was finish washing my face a taught ran to my head suggesting why would he ask me such a question!? As I taught about that I wanted to avoid him that day ,with the impression of even skipping calculous .
But then what will happen if I don't show up for us to go to the cinema? " I asked myself? It was his 17th birthday and I want him to be happy .
We want what is the best for both of us ! So I had to figure something out .
