Escape.
One word I loved to hear the sound of, especially right now. I always thought about the idea of escaping. It just never really crossed my mind that Stacey was capable of going along with it.
"Escape?" I spoke with a confused look on my face as I felt knots in my stomach. I should be jumping up and down, hugging her, anything. But instead I just stood there. Not knowing what to do or say or even feel.
I guess I zoned out a little while I was thinking when I hear Stacey calling my name and waving a hand in front of my face. "Allison? Are you ok? We don't have to go through with the idea if you don't want to but you already know the consequences if we don't." I didn't really know how to respond.
Escape. That's the only thing that's running through my mind right now. Nothing else. We have to go through with it, no matter how difficult our lives could end up being. I don't want to think about the negatives in this. Just the positives.
"So what exactly are we going to do? And you have to tell me because you haven't said a word about any if this to me at all..." I drifted off in the end not really having the mind to be mad at her for not telling me anything. "What we're doing is escaping. Tonight." She gets up from fixing up her clothes in her suitcase so it could look less messy.
"And where exactly are we going? Do you even have tickets or anything ready?" I stare at her with wide eyes. "Allison" she walks over her suitcase to be face-to-face with me and rests her hands on my shoulders. "we're going somewhere that you would love and we're going to have a nice apartment and we're going to live our lives in peace and not in fear of being separated." She lightly shook my shoulders.
We stand there in silence just blankly looking at each other for a while before I let out a sigh. "Alright." Was the only word that came out.

We spend the rest of our day as normal as we could without bringing suspicion to ourselves for what was yet to happen tonight. And good for us that it went ever so smoothly. Even dinner with Ms. Wright went so smoothly it was almost unreal to me.
Stacey and I agreed to escape to the airport an hour after curfew to make sure everyone is asleep.
We just sat in our room each I'm our own beds playing with out hands. It wasn't an uncomfortable silence. I enjoyed it, it was calming and relaxing.
We stayed like this for a couple more minutes before I decided to check the time.
9:49 p.m.
I waited for a couple more seconds before speaking up. "Its almost time to leave." I looked up from the dark screen of my phone to look at Stacey. "I know." she spoke with a soft relaxed tone. It's nice seeing her relaxed, she's usually always tensed. I watched as she breathed in and out calmly. I looked down to my phone and turned it on to check the time.
9:56 p.m. It's time.
I got up and showed the lit up screen to Stacey and she nodded slowly as she got up from her bed over the the closet and got out our suitcases that were hidden in there in case someone walked in. She picks up mine first and hands it to me not trying to make too much noise by rolling it. After she hands me mine I set it down carefully as she pulls hers out and walks over the the window and opens it up slowly and carefully. Once it was fully opened she puts her suitcase on the fire escape and reaches out to grab mine from my hands. I hand it to her before we both crawl out the window. It was quite difficult trying to make our way down the fire escape even though it was only two stories high. Once we got down the fire escape we started running towards the nearest lit up street getting the attention of a cab, which wasn't too hard since we do live in New York.
We got in the cab and Stacey gave the driver directions to the nearest air port. Since it was dark I couldn't tell if they were a boy or a girl. We stayed silent the entire car ride even though I was super excited to finally be leaving that hell hole.
I watch as Stacey watches the roads trying to keep the driver on the right path and not let them try and fool us by taking a long way to the air port. You never know with New York taxi drivers.
I leaned back and pulled out my phone checking Instagram, only to find a couple of notifications since I only have around three hundred followers. I check my feed and remembered how the five seconds of summer guys had an Instagram account too. So I took it upon my time to check it out.
As I looked through their pictures and some videos I couldn't help let out a laugh here and there so I decided to follow them. I checked out a couple more pictures and saw that one picture had their Instagrams tagged in the comments so I clicked on one randomly only to see that it was Calums' insta. He had some random but still pretty cool pictures so I followed. Next was Michael, he had some videos here and there but mainly some selfies, he seemed pretty cool so I followed. Next up was Luke, he had pictures of fans and some of him with the rest of the boys. When I was done stalking him I clicked follow. And last was Ashton, he had all sorts of pictures and videos that were practically just reminders about how much they love their fans. He seemed really sweet and was certainly bubbly and loud so I clicked the follow button.
When I was done stalking all of them I went back to the main band page and continued to stalk until I felt a nudge on my shoulder. I looked up and saw Stacey that was halfway out of the cab. I looked out of my window to see that we were finally at the air port.
I gathered my stuff and got out of the cab and went to the trunk to get our suitcases while Stacey paid the driver. Once she was done we went inside the air port and Stacey went to go pay for everything. When she was done with everything Stacey came back to where I decided to sit and sat down next to me.
"Will you finally tell me where we're going? I'm super anxious to know! Please Stacey!" I begged. "Alright! I'll tell you" she turned in her seat towards where she's facing me. "We're going to... L.A.!" As soon as the word 'L.A.' fell from her mouth I instantly hugged her. I've always wanted to go to L.A.. And now I'm going to be living there soon enough.
She hands me my ticket and I read that our flight leaves around eleven tonight.
