Lunch eventually ended and Mike helped me get to my next class.  Turns out we both had biology.  I had only seen Sofia once and I wondered how she was doing.  My thoughts were immediately interrupted when Mike took his seat next to Jessica and the teacher directed me to the only open seat available.  It was a two person lab table, that I would be sharing with Edward.

I sat down and put my books next to me on the ground.  He said nothing.  He started to clench his hands together and stiffen his nose.

"Are you alright?"  I asked him.

"I have to go."

"Why?"

"It's not your fault."

Nobody else in the room seemed to notice his abrupt exit.  Was this normal?  I thought to myself.  I decided that I would ask one of his gorgeous friends.  But before I did, I decided to get a little bit more information from Mike after class.

"Hey could you tell me what's up with the Fowlers."

"Why?  You're not into them or anything are you?  I mean they don't talk to anyone."

"No, I was just wondering."  I lied.

"Well, they're adopted and super rich.  So, since they're adopted they can date each other."

"Oh.  What about the one who is alone?"

"Edward, yeah he's something else.  Keeps to himself, they all do.  Only tell each other things."

"Yeah, I guess I should get to class.  Where are you headed?"

"Gym and so are you."

"Haha you know my schedule better than I do."

In gym I noticed that Edward wasn't there.  Had he gone home?  The whole time I thought about biology, and replayed it in my head over a million times.  I couldn't figure out what had happened.

As I was walking out the door to finally leave, somebody touched my shoulder.  It was one of the couples from the Fowler family.

"Hello, I'm Ray."  Said a perfect, song-like voice.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Justin."  Said her companion.

"Don't worry about what happened today with Edward.  He has allergies, uhhh---he'll get over them soon hopefully."

"But he was clenching his hands and nose and I---"

"Right, to keep from sneezing.  You know, he didn't want to embarrass himself."  "Got to go, it was nice meeting you."  She smiled one of the most perfect smiles I had ever seen and walked away.

I did my homework as quickly as possible that night.  I needed to be with mom, she wasn't feeling well.  She doesn't look so good either.  But, she took so medicine and is hopefully turning around.  Sofia's first day was good.  She made a bunch of nice friends, of course.

Nervous to see how tomorrow goes...
