Louie started crying as he pulled out the box from under his bed. "I read everything in there. I-I know she's..." Louie started. Dewey hugged him. Dewey noticed that he didn't open the envelope. Dewey sat down and pulled it out. "This is what I wanted to show you guys. It's a message from mom to us." Dewey opened up the letter.

"Is the lad okay?" Nobody moved. "Oh no. You didn't..." Scrooge said."How many times have I told you? Stay out of that room!" Scrooge yells at the boys, picking up the box. "It's too soon." Dewey fills with anger. "Too soon?! You knew about this and you didn't bother telling us our mom is DEAD?!" Louie starts crying, Huey comforts him. "What happened to your mother was none of our faults. She went and took the Spear of Selene!" Scrooge yells, "And she is..." He looks at the boys. They are all holding tears in their eyes. Scrooge sighs. "Look, I'm sorry, okay? I'm always blamed for the incident. Thats why Donald wouldn't let you visit me." Huey got up and walked out of the room, Louie following. Dewey turned to his uncle. "... Uncle Scrooge.. I... I don't know what to say to you." Dewey whispered, before walking out.
All the boys were on the house boat. In their old room. "I can't believe Scrooge kept our mom's death a secret..." Huey sighed. "Yeah, I was so scared. I looked in her journal and saw this..." Louie says, pulling out a newspaper headline. 'McDuck Family Member Funeral' Dewey was shocked at this. "Wait, I thought I gave that too Webby! I guess I didn't." Huey looked at him. "What? What do you mean?" Dewey Looked down. "I may or may not have been looking for mom with Webby..." Huey's soft look turned hard. "What?! What happened to 'We do everything together?!'" Huey yelled. Dewey looked down. Huey put his face in his hands and got up. "I need some time to think. " And with that, Huey left.
