Launchpad looked on the radar for any other planes. Dewey and Webby were planning on how to get in and get Louie. Scrooge was sitting down. Donald was looking out the window. "Mr. McD!" Launchpad shouted. "I found a plane!" Dewey and Webby ran over along with Donald. Scrooge sat still. "How many people are in there?" Dewey asked. "4 or 5." Launchpad replied. "EXPLODE IT!" Webby screamed. "We don't want to kill the lad, Webby! Were tryin ta get him back." Scrooge said.
"Uh, we have somebody tailing us." Said the pilot of Magica's plane. "Must be Scrooge! Oh what a delight! He can see his nephew go down!" Magica exclaimed. Louie started shaking his head and screaming his uncles names. Magica cackled. "Lena, open the hatch! And hold on tight. Were about 45,000 feet in the air and I would hate it if you fell." Lena rolled her eyes and pushed the button to open the hatch door. The door slowly opened and...
"LOUIE!!" Dewey yelled. "How do we get him?!" Scrooge stood up. "Magica De Spell is probably one of the worst foes I have ever made. She goes extra lengths and when things aren't done right, she shows you something you don't want to see." Dewey looked at Scrooge and then back at his brother, who he could tell was crying. "...Launchpad, get me as close as you can." Scrooge walked over to Dewey. "Your just gonna get yourself killed!" Scrooge yelled. Donald agreed with Scrooge. He can't have what happened with Huey again.
Magica saw that they were arguing. She giggled. She got a megaphone and said "Scroogie! How's it been? I assume you want him back?" Scrooge looked through the window. "Well, you already know what I'm after. Don't just stand around. Your nephew could slip at any moment!" She said while pushing Louie's chair closer to the edge. Scrooge reached into his pocket and pulled out a map. He sighed and clutched it into his hands. Magica signaled for Lena to move Louie back. She dragged Louie's chair back. The two planes leveled up until Magica could reach the map. Magica went back inside the plane for a minute. And brought back Louie. His hands and legs still tied. "Why is he still tied up?" Dewey asked. Magica smiled and said "So I could do THIS. Now!" Glomgold grabbed the pilot and tied him up. The plane was going down. Lena shut the door so water wouldn't flood in. "Oh, don't worry dear. We will be taking a little detour. Should we take the boy with us? That spell you did earlier was quiet good in erasing memories." Magica said. Lena looked at Louie and then her aunt. She nodded to her aunt. Magica smiled and said "Good choice." Magica opened the button to the back door and broke the windows. Then, in the blink of an eye, they were gone. Louie started screaming for help.
"DIVE, LAUNCHPAD DIVE!" Dewey yelled. Scrooge jumped out of the plane and dived. His nephew was not going to die on his watch. He landed in the water and swam down. He found the plane and it looked dented and bits of it were everywhere. Scrooge got up for some air but went straight back down. He swam into the airship and looked around. LOUIE! He found the young duckling trapped underneath some rubble. Scrooge went up for more air. He looked up in time to see Dewey jumping off the plane. Donald couldn't get him in time. Webby jumped off as well. Dewey was falling fast. Webby was a few feet behind him. Scrooge dove down and went to remove the rubble off his nephew. Dewey and Webby landed and swam down to help. They got the peice off of him and swam up. Louie didn't breath yet. The three swam for shore with Louie in Scrooge's arms.
They finally got to shore after 15 minutes of swimming. They laid down Louie and checked if Louie had a pulse. He did, it was fairly slow, but still a pulse. Donald and Launchpad crashed a fair distance away from the scene. They got out and looked at Louie. "Louie? Louie, are you okay?" Dewey asked. Webby pushed Dewey out of the way and did CPR. When Louie woke up, he was breathing slowly and his pulse kept getting slower. Dewey hugged his brother. "LOUIE! LOUIE..." Louie opened his mouth to say something but his voice was gone. "Shhh... it's okay." Dewey whispered that last part. "D-Dewey?" Louie stuttered. "Yeah Lou?" Dewey replied. "I love you... have I ever told you that?" Louie whispered before falling asleep. "We need to get him to the hospital." Donald said. "Please drive carefully." He said to Launchpad, who saluted.
20 minutes later, they reached the hospital. Strangely enough, with no crash. They rushed Louie in and were directed to a room. Louie started coughing. First out water, then out blood. "Louie! Louie you okay?!" Dewey started to say. The doctor told them to leave. "I-I can't. I have to stay! He's my brother! I already lost one I-I can't lose Louie! Please!" Dewey begged. Louie, though he couldn't speak motioned Dewey to come to his bed. The doctor pushes him out and closed the door. The doctor also closed the blinds.
10 minutes later Louie screams in pain. Dewey bangs on the door to let him in the door opened but there was no sign of the doctor. But Dewey didn't care where the doctor was. He ran up to Louie and screamed "What's wrong?! What happened?!" Louie couldn't speak but grunted and weakly pointed to the needle in his arm. It was half empty. Dewey grabbed the needle. Webby examined the fluid inside the needle. "THIS IS A POISON!" she yelled. Dewey looked at Louie and yelled "Your gonna be fine! I can... I can... I'll be there for you." Louie looked up at his brother and whispered "I-I don't feel so good Dew..." Dewey with tears in his eyes. Shoved the needle into his own arm. "DEWEY!" Scrooge and Donald yelled. Dewey turned to his uncles and said "I-I have to be there for him." Dewey injected the needle and dropped to the floor. The last thing he heard was his name.
