The Brother Pact

Betrayal

Dewey decided that it would be best to open up the letter with all his brothers.
"Guys? Where you-" Dewey stopped in his tracks. He heard his brothers. He leaned in on the door. He listened close.

"Louie! Really?! I thought you said you only drank 8 cups!! It shows you drank 12!!" Huey yelled. "Chill out. I was still thinking but it hurt." Louie said. "I can't 'chill out' because this is dangerous! You could actually die!" Huey shouted with tears held back. "I get it okay?" Louie yelled back. "I could die. Can I go now?" Huey sighs. "Fine. Just be careful." Dewey walks in slowly. "Uh, hey guys." Dewey says with caution. "NOT NOW!" Huey yells. Louie pushes past Dewey and walks into a different room. "Are you okay?" Dewey called out to Louie, who didn't answer him. Dewey looked back at Huey. "What happened? I had something to show you guys..." Huey looks at Dewey and yells "I DONT NEED YOU HERE RIGHT NOW, OKAY?!" Startled, Dewey steps back tears fill his eyes. Realizing his mistake, Huey says, "Hey, look, I'm sorry." Dewey dropped the box and ran. "Dewey!" Huey yelled, chasing him.

Dewey realized what was going on. He knew that his family was falling apart. Louie had been out partying all night.
He has just found out more about his mom. And Huey doesn't need him around. The more he thought about it, the more he cried. He ran straight to the beach.

~A few hours later~
Dewey wakes up in his bed. He looks around. He jumps from the top bunk to the floor. He falls down due to jelly legs. His brothers walk in and run toward Dewey. They all group hug and talk it over.

"Dewey, why did you run away like that?" Huey said while holding back tears. "I-I don't know." Dewey said looking at the floor. "Well, your here now. That's all that matters." Huey said, smiling. Louie just looks down with his eyes closed. "Louie you okay?" Dewey asked. "Y-yeah." Louie stuttered. Dewey looked over at where he dropped the box and went over to it. It was gone.
