Once A Bad Boy (He's A Bad News Sequel)

7 - The Old Erick

Erick just left the house, and now Isabella regret yelling at him. There's always a soft part in her that will always blame herself for every mistake he's done. She can never be mad at him for long. No matter what he do she'll close her eyes and hug him tight.

Ever since she's with him she put away everything just to make sure they're together. She stopped hanging out with her best friend that much, she neglect the rules she has made for herself to stay away from anyone that has anything related to her family's business. She even turn her back on her brother. All for a guy named Erick Brian Colon.

And now she's sitting in her son's room, staring at the wall that Erick painted. Their pictures were hanged on it. He only slept with that girl once, she can't let that tear them apart. Maybe she sound like a fool but once he come back home today she'll tell him to forget everything that happened today. They'll act like he never confessed a thing. She never wants to lose him. Not to a random bitch.

Isabella wonders where he's heading to. Maybe to the band's house. As long as he's not somewhere else with a girl she won't mind. So she grabbed her phone and ask Chris if he heard anything from Erick.

Chris:
He said he's coming, so we made him buy some things on his way. Is everything okay?

Bella:
He'll tell you himself

Chris put his phone down. "I guess Erick has told Bella about it. That's why he's coming. Seems like it doesn't went well." he tells the others. Richard and Zabdiel started to feel guilty but what's done is done.

It has been almost an hour, but Erick hasn't shown up yet. "We only ask him to buy some drinks. What's taking him so long?" Joel whines. They tried calling him couple of times but there's no answer.

"If he bumped into some hoe and ended up fucking them again I'm gonna kill him with these hands." Richard says, imitating a strangling motion with his hands.

They waited a little longer. Joel started to lose his patience, he keeps tapping his feet on the floor. Chris's phone blew up, making them thought it was Erick calling. "No it's not. It's Bella." Chris says, making the others upset. The guys were watching TV at high volume, making it hard for him to listen to what Bella was telling him so Chris walked to the kitchen.

He came back later and turned the TV off, making the others protest against him. "We have to go to the hospital now. Erick got into an accident." he tells them. Without wasting any more time they all left their house and went straight to the hospital.

Isabella was holding Jaime, sitting outside the surgery room. Richard immediately takes Jaime from her as he saw her restless face. Chris came and pull her closer to his chest, allowing her to cry it all out on him.

None of them can say anything. They just wait for the doctors to come out and tell them how Erick was doing. An hour later the doctor came out, asking for a family member. Isabella stood up and asked Chris to come with her.

"He's stable but he can't wake up yet. Once he wakes up we'll monitor his brain condition." the doctor told them. Bella was allowed to stay with Erick, while the others has to take turn to see him in his room as the doctor doesn't allow many visitors at once.

"Can you take care of him?" Bella asked Richard about Jaime. She gave him the keys to their house. "Take anything you need. If it's too much to handle just send him to Anitta's." she added.

Erick was lying on the bed with his eyes closed and stitched on his head and arms. He broke his leg. There are wires around him. Bella just sat patiently beside him and hold his hand gently.

It was Chris's turn to take a look on Erick before they go back to their house. When he gets inside Bella was talking to Erick. "If only I knew this would happened after you left, I'll tell you to stay. I was mad but I never want to see you like this." she cried, begging for him to open his eyes soon.

Chris put his hand on her shoulder and squeezed it gently. "He'll come back to us. Don't worry." he convinced her. "I'll come back tonight. Let's take turn on looking after him. Remember, there's another boy that needs you." he reminds her about her son Jaime.

After a few minutes Chris joined the others to go back home. The drive was silent, they were all holding themselves from getting a breakdown in front of Jaime. The baby wasn't aware of what happened. He kept playing with Richard's necklace and laughed, breaking their hearts even more.

Days after that Erick still hasn't woke up. As promised, they took turn in looking after him. Every time Bella was at home she can't do anything without tears running down her cheeks. It gets worse when she looks at Jaime. Sometimes he cried for no reason, which Bella assumed that he was missing Erick in the house. When that happens all she can do was crying along as she tries to comfort him.

It's Joel's turn to take care of Erick. He was reading a book when Erick moves his finger. Joel can't believe what he saw, and took a look at Erick's face. Erick was trying to open his eyes weakly. "Joel? What happened to me?" he asked.

Joel was crying happy tears, he closed his mouth with his hand. "Wait, I'm calling the doctor." he told Erick as he ran out from the room. While the doctor was examining Erick he called his friends and Bella to convey the good news to them.

The boys picked Bella and Jaime from their house and went to the hospital together. When they got there Joel was waiting for them. "I haven't seen him yet since he woke up. You should be the first." Joel said to Bella.

Handing Jaime over towards Richard, Bella asked for a company to come with her. Chris offered himself, so they got into the room together. "Chris, my man." Erick smiles as soon as he saw them coming in.

"What a beautiful girl you brought with you. What's her name?" he asked. Chris and Bella laughed as they took it as a joke. "It's Isabella, idiot." Chris answered. "Pretty name as well." Erick says, smiling at Bella. "But where's Camila? Why wasn't she here?" he asked, making the two looking at him confused.

Author's note: I'm changing my writing style for this one. From now on the POV part will only come from Erick.
