Isabella ran to answer the door as someone rang the doorbell. It was Chris, wearing his soothing smile as soon as the door was opened before him. "Chris, come in." Isabella moves aside to let him in.

"Where's Erick?" he asks as he made his way inside.

"Still sleeping." Isabella answered. She then let out a tiny but audible sigh. "He woke up in the middle of the night last night. Nightmares."

She was looking down to the ground so she couldn't see Chris's apologetic look on her. He then pulls her closer and hugs her. Without saying a word, Isabella curls herself in his embrace. No words said, they just feels each other enough to know what's lingering in their hearts.

A moment later they let go of each other. Isabella was avoiding Chris's gaze as she walks back to the kitchen. "I made some sandwich for breakfast. Do you want some?"

Chris answered yes as he took a seat on the dining chair. Not that long later, Isabella served the sandwiches in front of him. "I'm going to check on my boys for a while." she said before she made her way upstairs.

As she got into her room, Erick was still sleeping soundly. She stares at him, wishing that she could kiss him to wake him up like she always did before but her mind keeps telling her to hold it in.

She then walks to the closet. She reaches for something she found in between his folded clothes last week when he was still in coma. Glancing at Erick, she hid it in her back pocket.

While Chris was eating, Isabella came back with Jaime in her arms. "Hey there, little rocker." Chris cheers as he took Jaime from his mother.

"I actually have something to talk to you about." Isabella tells him.

Putting Jaime on his chair, Chris sits down next to Bella and waits for her to open up to him. "I found this when he was still unconscious." she says, reaching for the thing in her back pocket and show it to him.

Chris was speechless when Isabella opens the box in her hand, and took out the ring. Her name was carved on the inner side of it. "Maybe it's just a random present but I can't look at it anymore when he's like this. I keep thinking about how would it turn out if he never got into the accident. If I didn't tell him to leave the house. If he didn't-" she stopped as she breaks into tears.

"I thought when he woke up I could tell him that I've found the ring, that he sucks in hiding things and wear it in front of him to annoy him." she keeps her eyes on the ring with her other hand wiping the tears on her cheeks.

As she gets to hold her sobs she moves her eyes on Chris. "I don't know if it's the right thing to do. But he doesn't even remember buying it. Can you keep it? In case he never remember-"

"Don't say that." Chris cuts her mid sentenced.

Isabella shook her head. "Just listen to me. If he never remember me, I want you to give this back to him and tell him to sell it or do anything with it. Because I know I can never do it."

As much as Chris wants to tell her to not lose hope, he knows how desperate she needs him to favor her. He took the ring in her hand, put it back into the box and keep it in his jeans.

"I'll keep it for you. But I want you to believe that one day we are going to hide this box again, where he hid it the last time and he's going to put it on your finger because that time he's back to being your boyfriend Erick, the father of your son." he assures her.

Isabella mouths "thank you" to him, before silence falls into the room. Even Jaime was playing with his food without a sound. Just his hand squeezing the fruits in front of him.

"Yo, Chris. What are you doing here?" Erick's voice heard. Bella immediately stands up and leave the table before Erick can see her teary eyes.

"Was about to pick you up. We need you to learn the new song, bro." Chris answers. "Here, Bella made breakfast for you. Have some before we leave."

After playing some songs with his band Erick sits on the porch. "Does Angelica still lives around?" he asks Joel.

"Angelica your fuck buddy? You still remember her?" Joel replies with high pitched voice.

"That thicc body with tiny tank strap and daring eyes? I'll never forget that." Erick answers with a smirk formed on his face.

"Dude, you have a-" Joel stops himself before he mentioned the word girlfriend. There's no point on reminding Erick about it. "Yea. She's still here."

His answer draws a playful grin on Erick's face. "See you later." he says as he makes his way to leave. "If Bella asks about me, just say that I'm walking around the neighborhood for some air." he adds.

Joel just watch as Erick walks away. Not that long later Richard and Chris come out. "Where's cubano?" Richard asks.

"He asked me about Angel. I guess he's off to meet her." Joel answers, not pleased with what he knows. "He's back to being like that. I hate it."

Chris doesn't look pleased as well. There's something inside him that's screaming for him to chase after Erick, cuff his collar and drag him back to Isabella's house. But he knows he can't do that.

"There's nothing we can do. It must be hard for him too. Imagine what will happen when he remembers everything?" Richard lets out.
