Ishani stared at him dumbfounded and then suddenly the whole thing dawned on her. She staggered back a little and instantly saw him snapping in action.
"I know this has shaken you, but seriously Ishani, I swear I meant every word," he said taking her in his arms and steadying her.
As the shock of his question started to settle inside, she felt her breathing becoming constricted.
"Ishani?"
"I.......I......" she stuttered but couldn't finish.
"I am sorry for startling you. But please say something before I start believing I asked something I shouldn't have."
She shook her head and placed her forehead on his chest.
How could she take such a big decision in such a short time?
And that too in such a state.
The heat of his body just penetrated through her thoughts and took centre stage in her head. It was as if her mind was telling her to only think about him and nothing else. And, all of sudden it started to play the moments they had spent together.
She wound her arms around his waist and felt him tighten his grip on her. As her head slanted on his chest, she heard the erratic drumming of his heart.
It felt like his heart was whispering her name with every beat.
Rudra tipped her chin up and looked into eyes.
"I can wait an eternity to be officially yours."
Spinning a web, his words filtered through her body and settled inside her heart. She pressed her face into his chest and just nodded.
"What?" she heard him ask softly.
"Yes!"
Just as the word left her tongue, she felt him let go of her, and when she opened her eyes, she knew the reason why.
The look of wonder and amazement was enough to take her joy higher. She smiled shyly but he didn't come near her. Instead, he just kept looking at her as if not believing his ears.
"Did I hear it correctly? Did you just....?"
Just as she nodded, she saw his eyes widen. The next second he closed the distance between them and clasped her hand. Slipping the ring on her finger, he tipped her face up.
"You are mine."
Ishani didn't know what to say; she just nodded shyly and buried her face in his chest.
The moment her arms went around his neck, he stiffened as his inner-self screamed with hostility. His arms fell away from her and he stepped back. As he turned and moved away from her, he could feel her eyes following him with confusion.
Don't show your hesitation. Not now; not after coming this far.
Closing his eyes, he calmed himself and as he sat down on the couch, he looked at her encouragingly.
"I don't have anything for you," she said sitting down next to him on the couch and he looked up questioningly.
"You gave me a ring but I didn't get anything for you."
"You don't need to. You gave yourself and no gift can match that," he said with a smile.
Slipping closer to him, she wound her arm around his and placed her head on his shoulder.
"Are you happy?" she heard him ask.
Ishani nodded and then raised herself a little to come closer to him. Just as the side of her breast touched his arm, she felt his body jerk up a little.
"Ishani!" he groaned sharply and tried to move away as her forehead touched the corner of his throat.
But she was not willing to let him go. From the time he had left her room in anger, she had wanted nothing but to have him back in her arms. She had missed his closeness, his touch, his breathing on her and most of all his scent.
She circled her other arm around him and pulled him closer. As her hand started to go up towards his face, she could feel his body yielding to her but still, there was a hesitation in him. She grabbed his shirt collar and placed her nose on the other side of his throat.
The moment she breathed in, her senses went crazy with the scent of his body. She wanted that all over her. Not able to control herself, she started to nuzzle his skin with her nose and felt him whimper lowly.
"Ishani please stop," he said twisting his head sideways.
"Rudra, please, I need you. I want you so bad. Please take—"
With a fluid movement of his hand, Rudra pulled her on his lap and felt her straddle him. Somehow he did not have the power to resist her. She wanted him and he was going to prove that he was man enough to fulfil her need.
"Please take what?"
Ishani groaned as she felt his hardened flesh stabbing the needy part of hers. Involuntarily she moved her hips trying to increase the friction gaining a frustrated moan from him.
"Take what Ishani?" she heard him ask but she was incapable of speech.
Rather her hands found his belt and started undoing it.
His eyes shot up to hers just as his hands clasped hers stopping her midway.
"We would be landing soon," he reminded her but she did not listen.
She moved and slid to the floor. Lowering herself to her knees, she again grabbed the belt and started undoing it.
"Ishani stop, please."
But somehow his words were not registering in her mind. The only thing she was thinking was how big an influence Nina was in his life and she wanted to wipe that woman's name from his memory. And the only way was by flooding his mind with nothing but pleasure.
She pulled down the chain and looked up at him. His eyes bore the testimony that he was incapable of stopping her.
Ishani eyes fell on the concealed organ between his thighs and its engorged state was evidence enough that he was as aroused as she was.
Rudra chest heaved with pent-up energy just as he felt her palming his manhood, the heat of her hand shooting tingles of electricity in his veins. But what earned a feral growl from him was her pressing her face on it and then licking the part through the cloth.
"Wait!" he commanded stilling her.
Pressing the button of the intercom on the nearby table, he said, "Rohit, when do we land?"
"Not before 2 hours, Sir, there's a lot of air traffic today," she heard Rohit answer.
Giving an affirming reply, he cut the connection and looked at her.
"Suck me!"
