i laid on the grass, hands crossed over my stomach as i looked up at the stars, staring intently.
"it's beautiful isn't it?" i heard a boy's voice say. his voice was gentle, comforting even. i flinched as he spoke but i didn't turn to look at him i just kept my eyes fixated on the stars.
"yeah it is" i responded.
there was a long silence before he finally broke it, "it's weird to think that there could be a whole different universe beyond all those stars, that there could be another one of us doing the exact same thing we're doing now except watching clouds instead of stars or something"
i was fascinated by his words, his mind is so interesting. i feel like i could listen to him go on forever. i finally tore my eyes from the sky to look at him. his soft looking, pale skin was glistening in the moon light. he was laying with his hands behind his head, admiring the stars.
"who are you?" i asked softly, he turned to me and laughed his eyes arching into a crescent like shape,
"who are you?" he replied. i laughed and sat up causing him to follow.
"i'm yoongi, min yoongi" he smiled, he held his hand out for me to shake to which i accepted, his hand was so soft and filled with warmth.
"i'm (y/n), (y/n) (y/l/n)" i told him,
"it's nice to meet you (y/n), so you like stars hay?" he laughed causing me too as well, gosh his laughter was so contagious.
i nodded, "i'm not sure what it is about them, but whenever i need to calm down i lay and look up at the stars, it seems to help" i replied.
he nodded in agreement, "i get that"
"you like the stars?" i asked,
"yeah, i quite like the moon as well, it's almost as if it's a giant star watching over the little ones, without the moon, earth, well the earth we know today wouldn't exist. we wouldn't exist" he said. his mind is truly spectacular.
i looked up at the stars again before asking him something else, "so what are you doing out so late?"
he shook his head, "well your out here too, i could ask you the same thing"
"ok, ok" i laughed, "just needed to clear my head"
"me too" he said quietly before continuing, "you're not the only one who has problems you know?"
"yeah.. i know" i smiled, i quickly changed the subject and pointed at the shopping bag next to him, "late night shopping?" i laughed,
"yeah, guess you could call it that" he laughed, he seemed a bit nervous looking, maybe even suspicious but i'm probably just imagining it, besides i don't even know the guy.
i stood up, "well i should get going before my mum notices that i'm gone.."
he nodded and stood up so he was facing me,
"ok well it was lovely to meet you" he smiled,
i smiled, "you too"
"bye star girl!" he yelled after me,
i spun around laughing, "see ya moon boy!"
