Part 1::

"Keep your arm up!"

Zarod tells me while hitting my arm with the flat of the sword.

"This is your weakness child, if I tell you one more time I will strike you again!"

I shutter at the thought of being cut again and put my arm up.

Our swords unite in a calculated dance, keeping my arm up as we practise.

"Good, now take off the blindfold and go to Mason"

Swordplay comes naturally to me, I have been training all my life.

Seven years of brutality but that's comes with being a Galdez.

How rude am I? My name is Alira Galdez and I am seven years old.

I live with one of the richest families and my destiny lays in the hands of Mason, Manates son.

I have a nanny, her name is Elouise. I currently live in her quarters and she cares for me.

"Ria!! Can you help me with this puzzle, I'm confused?"

I run over to Mason and sit beside him cross legged.

I always loved the feeling after a sword fight! My mind was always so clear.

"Mason, this is easy can't you see" I put the missing piece together and we both laugh, he looks at me with big open eyes

"Will you be my secret girlfriend?"

he stops for a second then quickly continues

"But you can't talk to me at school and you can't say anything to dad or Elouise, promise?"

He now grins at me

"Yeah okay Mase, I um promise"

I blush and go red

"You're the best Ria"

He plants a quick kiss on my cheek and runs off.

Well I kind of have a general direction I want this to go in so I need to get a few things out of the way though.
