Wait, let's take you back so you can understand your actions.

It all started when you were 8 years old. Your mother and father were drifting apart, constantly fighting and arguing.

That's when things got worse, your father would cope by drinking, only he began to drink excessively, getting drunk constantly, and an alcoholic.

Your mother sank into depression and never seemed to be happy, but now always negative, talking about death as a way to relieve pain.

Things got worse as your father became more of an alcoholic and began to do drugs. He would always reek of cigarettes, marijuana, alcohol, and other terrible substances. As time went on, he developed anger issues.

It seemed the only reason they were never completely separated was because of you. Neither of them seemed to really care about you after they started arguing. It all started stupidly. You and your family had never been rich and after your mother quit her job, your father became infuriated.

Soon after, your mother found your father cheating on her. And so, they fought.

One day in fall, everything went south. It was the week before your birthday, and as they now had separate houses, they argued over who would have you for your birthday.

You were crying, saying they both could, but they told you no. The fight escalated, and you could see your father getting angry. When your father got too angry, he would become abusive. He would often hit your mother, beating her until she cried.

You started to hate your father, but kind of loved him too. When it was just you two, he would treat you well, taking you out to eat or to the park.

Your mother never did that, she just stayed at home, depressed and talking about death constantly.

And so you were torn apart.

As this fight escalated, your father took out a gun.

He pointed it at your mother, and you cried out.

"No papa, no, please," you beg. But he doesn't seem to hear or understand you.

It is no use, he takes the gun and shoots your mother in the abdomen.

At that point, he realizes what he has done and looks at you, confused as if he just was aware of what he had done.

You didn't know how to feel; angry or sad.

You ran to your mother who was bleeding out. Your father grabbed his phone, called the police, and said this; "I shot my wife, I deserve to be punished, the address is ***."

Pretty soon the police and ambulance arrive. They take you away from your mother as they put her on a stretcher, and turn to your father.

"Were you the one that shot her?" the officer asks.

"Yes," your father replied.

They handcuff him, and he doesn't even give a fight. They push him to his knees, take his gun, and then make him get in the car. He doesn't even look at you, and you cry out.

You visit your mother who they say is going to die. You lay next to her, and she finally opens her eyes. "Hey darling...it's okay, there will be no pain anymore," and with that, her head falls back as she dies.

You cry, sobbing, in despair.

You are sent to a foster home. Two years pass, and you come to find out that your father committed suicide in his jail cell.

Once again your heart is broken.

You spend seven years in a foster home, and then one day, a fire burns out. The whole foster home burns, and no one survives except you.
